I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant in Royal William Yard, and I must say, it left an unforgettable impression. The food here is nothing short of exceptional, with a uniqueness that sets it apart from any other dining experience. Their commitment to freshness and quality ingredients is evident in every bite. Each dish is not only interesting but also memorable, leaving a lasting impression that beckoned me back for more. In fact, I couldn’t resist the temptation and returned not just once, but twice within a span of two days - once for breakfast and again for lunch! The staff are the true gems of this establishment. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, they make you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door. Their knowledge of the extensive gluten-free menu is impressive, catering to a wide range of dietary needs without compromising on flavor. One of the highlights is the outdoor patio, which offers stunning views of Royal William Yard’s beautiful architecture, docked boats, and the picturesque harbor. It’s the perfect backdrop for a delightful meal, adding an extra layer of charm to an already exceptional dining experience. If you’re seeking a restaurant that combines unique and fresh cuisine with friendly staff and a breathtaking ambiance, look no further. This place has it all and more, making it an absolute must-visit for anyone in the area. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll certainly be returning for many more memorable meals in the future.

Seat available straight away, ordered via the QR code, food arrived promptly. No one checked in with us about the food afterwards. I ordered the smash burger which was supposed to be two smashed patties with chorizo etc. The two burgers was actually one cut in half, so I had two halves in a bun, it did not fill the bun so half the bun had no meat 😂 the chorizo chunks were too big, thinner slices would have been lovely. My sweet potato fries that I paid extra for, were undercooked. My partner didnt mind soggy chips so she ate some of them but eww. The coleslaw is never good, I always try it and always wish I could spit it out. My partner ordered 3 tapas, the braised chilli was lovely but needed something with it, like some bread or a wrap. The whipped honey feta is normally our go to, but this one wasnt whipped. It hard large lumps in it, not good. The calamari was delicious as normal. Wont be returning to this restaurant for a while 🥹

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was! We went here for my father's birthday meal because we didn't have much luck with getting a table anywhere else We were expecting it to be overpriced & for the food to be mediocre at best, due to it's location being in the Royal William yard Our assumptions were proven wrong as the food & drinks were actually decently priced & to our surprise, the food was actually pretty good! I had the birria tacos which were the best tacos that I've had in Plymouth; the menu had some interesting options & was definitely different from your standard Plymouth eatery menu! The location is very nice, being in the historic Royal William Yard There is also outdoor seating with nice views of the surrounding historic buildings & water! Overall, we all enjoyed the meal & I'd definitely come back again

Seco lounge is situated in the historic Royal William Yard in Stonehouse, originally a victualling yard for the Royal Navy which has been featured in many historical television series such as Hornblower due to its original features. We arrived after Lunch and I entered first with my elderly Grandmother in law, there was a table just leaving that could accommodate the six of us, the member of staff that greeted us, got a chair for Nanna without us asking, for the few moments it took to clear and sanitise the table, then myself and Nanna were taken to the table which was in a very convenient location not far from the doors, we were told that there was a possible 45 minute wait for food which we were happy with as we wanted to play a card game in wonderful surroundings, after choosing our meals we were surprised with how quickly they arrived, and they were delicious, so delicious my Brother in Law enjoyed a second order of the butter fried Chicken, myself, my wife and Nanna loved the macaroni and cheese. While my Mother and Father in law and brother in law enjoyed the Butter Fried chicken, for desert we enjoyed four portions of Churrios to share, a wonderful couple of hours spent with the family and the staff were fantastic. A wonderful easy going atmosphere with a strong family orientated feel. Well done Seco lounge for being able to feed the...

My friends and I have been to this restaurant several times, but on this occasion, my friends were dissatisfied with their main meals. They both ordered Louisiana lightly-spiced chicken with coleslaw and fries. Both my friends found the coleslaw too vinegary with not enough mayonnaise, and the chicken was far too spicy for their taste, as they don’t like heavily-spicy food. They had both expected the chicken to be lightly-spiced, so they were disappointed with the extra spice, and they had to leave both the chicken and the coleslaw. They loved the fries though, which were hot, crispy and tasty. They mentioned the situation to a member of staff, who fetched the manager. She was very understanding and offered my friends herby chicken as a replacement, but they didn’t feel like eating anything else as their mouths were still burning from the spice. They were then offered a full refund, which they were happy to accept. The manager was very professional and understanding about the situation and dealt with the issue competently and thoughtfully and to everyone’s satisfaction. Thank you for your professionalism and understanding. I have to add, I was happy with my tasty salad, which was delicious. Great consideration was given to dietary requirements, which we all appreciated.

We’ll definitely be back to try something else...
