Sweet Generations — Restaurant in Plymouth

I found this place by accident one day while taking my motorcycle to get fixed. Tucked away and unassuming, this place is easy to miss, but if you're lucky enough to walk through the doors you certainly are in for a treat.

Once inside I was greeted with friendly conversation and felt welcomed immediately where conversation soon turned to my upcoming wedding.

To my increddible good fortune, Sarah advised she too took orders for cakes for all occasions and would be more than happy to provide us with a cake for our big day.

As you can imagine I couldn't get my fiancé down there quick enough to discuss what it was we wa Ted and before we knew it we were all set to go for our big day.

Sarah turned up promptly on the morning of the wedding to set up our cake and cupcakes and I was absolutely flabbergasted at how beautiful it looked and once we were able to indulge ourselves after the ceremony I just couldn't stop eating it.

If you are in the market for cakes, cupcakes or sweet treats for yourself for a special occasion or even just to treat yourself, I simply cannot recommend this place enough.

Sarah and her team were incredibly helpful throughout the process of creating our stunning wedding cake. As an anxious, coeliac bride, I was determined to find somewhere that could provide a not only beautiful wedding cake, but a delicious, gluten free wedding cake, too. From start to finish, Sarah was incredibly helpful, friendly and patient. She provided inspiration, responded late into the night and ensured plans were tight and precise.

On the day, she seamlessly delivered the cake and added the flower corsages beautifully. Everybody commented on how ‘simply classic’ and ‘stunning’ our cake was, and not a single slice was left over come the end of the night (with nobody realising it was completely GF!).
