My partner purchased a sofa in 2023 which due to poor design is failing. It’s a corner sofa bed with no support between the bed frame underneath and the cushions. He purchased £250 of insurance on the product too. A furniture technician came to see if repairs could be made. They decided that replacing the cushions and mattress will be a suitable fix. I expressed that while I appreciate the replacement cushions… the issue will reoccur because it’s a design and structural issue. The seat cushions are falling through to the frame below causing injury. I feel that throwing a few replacement cushions at us is a really poor response. Especially as we are looking to refurnish a house we are buying. Will be looking elsewhere if this is not reviewed and resolved fairly and honestly!!

Bought a corner unit sofa from this company. Reported that the cushions were not of the same as I sat on in showroom and the foam interior was not fit for purpose. After 4 visits from THEIR independent engineer who agreed and requested new cushions. Furniture world has refused to take the independent company technician report and cancelled their services in this matter as he agreed with the customer.. And now following 4 phone calls to furniture world I have had no reply. Hence I am stuck with an uncomfortable sofa that is only 5 months old with the first fault reported after 1 month. Beware of buying sofas from this company who only fob you off when a complaint has been made. I have bought wardrobe . dining unit . Tv unit. And side units all of oak these are ok. I had the option of full refund, choose another suite, they also offered to have the large chaise sofa to be dismantled and rebuilt in my front room, or I could have my window taken out. It's rare to have such support and options given. Ben and Kevin were fantastic, which made a stressful situation more bareable. I had my window taken out, and Don (on his day off) came to my flat to help the removal guys to ensure the delivery went smoothly.
