I'm no KFC expert, but I have certainly had it a few times in my life. I have never felt the need to write a review, generally because it is what it is. Quick, tasty, fast food that you grab on the way home to save cooking. However, the other night after a long day of work, I took the opportunity to grab myself a tasty quick meal to fill me up. My first mistake was going there an hour before close. My second mistake was not checking my order, and my third was actually attempting to eat the pile of nasty dry, rock-hard chicken they chucked in the bucket. Mistake 1,The chicken was rock hard on the outside, but had probably been sitting under the heat lamps for ages. It was so tough that the skin was basically like crispy old leather. You would assume chicken that had been cooked for that long would be hot in the middle, but no, it was almost so cold. I'm surprised I didn't get brain freeze. Mistake 2, when I got home and opened the bag, the 4 extra hot wings that I had ordered to keep my wife happy and avoid her snacking on mine. Were, in fact, only 2 extra hot wings. Now imagine the frustration and anger even my wife blamed me for her lack of 2 wings. The way she went on about it, it would have been better for me to apply, get interviewed, train to do the job, and put 2 extra hot wings in my own bag!! Note to self next time, check the bag. Mistake 3 is actually attempting to eat it, I won't share the full experience. it's best I leave that up to your imagination. Let's just say, at 2 am, I was woken up by Satan himself dancing and lighting fires inside his my stomach..Needless to say after finding relief for what felt like a lifetime of watching tiktok videos. I was free to go to bed. Finally let me say that 2 litres of water is what we should drink most days. Not 2 litres of water between 230am and 7am to wash the saltiness out of my mouth. Read moreFirst time trying Marshmills kfc drive through. Wish I saw their review rating before I went there!! Will never go there again, neither will I recommend them. Bought couple of their special original deal @£4.49. On their poster they show good size portins of chicken. Well across both meals there was only one part of a chicken - 6 frigging drumsticks which don't have much meat on. Then secondly - 1portion of chips were packed in bag with both meals & the chip bag was packed almost upside down that there was only 5 chips left in its bag, the rest were scattered around in the main bag, so of course very cold chips, so not eaten!! Thirdly - some chicken pink & not thoroughly cooked(so less chicken to eat) so not eat. Also most chicken skin was not on chicken & some stuck to bag, no variety of chicken pieces. Fourth - I also bought 2 aero ice-creams which was given to me almost soon as got to collection window , but had to wait for food which took longer than I expected, so having being given ice-cream 1st before food was even ready , ice-cream was quite melted by time I got home 10mins later, window open, no heater on, so no warmth in car.! Staff should use their 'nog' & so, give ice-cream last!! So more than 1 complaint in 1 visit. So, not surprising they have low review rate. No pride in packing food. Unprofessional Workers. Also poster shows corn on cob but they had non & no gravy or beans. No white krushems. So not good at all. Making formal complaint to head office to let them know of my issues & they'll then no how poorly run this place is. Everyone who's had issues with this place, should also inform head office as well as leaving review. Read moreMy Word. I'm editing this review after the latest horrendous experience here. Ordered via the app at home and then drove straight there. I arrived at the restaurant and joined a queue of cars that seemed to be stationary for an age. Oh well, it gets busy there, I get it. Prob took around 15 to 20 mins to get to the order thingy and told the girl I'd used the app, and that was 19:51. Took another 15 mins to get to the food window and was told to park up. So I'm thinking I ordered via the app, had to wait to get to the order point then window, so surely it should be ready. Oh well, it gets busy, I get it. I park up and wait for........half an hour! Still no sign of the food. A few cars go through, but my food is nowhere to be seen. Plenty of delivery drivers/riders, etc, coming and going, but no sign of my food or for the guy behind me waiting too. I see him go in, so I followed and just heard the tail end of his complaint "I've been waiting 15 mins" so I said "yes and I've been out there for at least 30". I'm watching the staff just standing there, and there's several delivery guys waiting and being served. It appeared to me that they were the staffs priority, and we were merely a hindrance. I was offered a not very convincing apology and no offer of anything to compensate, just a paltry "it'll be a few more mins". 5 mins later, I get our food, and I head home. It was almost 21:00 by the time we left. Appalling.
