Greggs — Restaurant in Portsmouth

As a regular customer to this branch (as I work around the corner), I have experienced nothing but ignorance and rudeness from members of the staff that work here. I have bitten my tongue on more than one occassion, but today's experience really summed up what I am having to deal with upon my vists; a member of staff attempted to make me feel guilty for ordering 3 Bacon and Sausage Rolls for colleagues and I. The member of staff in question felt the need to tell me that "you've taken the last sausages, no one else can have any..."

I'm not entirely sure what the difference between me buying them and the next person, but rest assured, as a local business we won't be returning.

For the record I'm not expecting 'Michelin Star' treatment, but manners and courtesy...

Good old Gregg's, consistent quality across their stores. Ok many will argue it's not very healthy.

This Gregg's is quite small and when I arrived it was occupied by the group from two removal trucks waiting for coffee. Spread out as they were, there they left no room for the rest of us to pass and gain access to the tills. They all waited, we had to wait outside in the rain,.when there was enough room for us to get in had these entitled selfish people had not been blocking the entrance. A very small Greggs with limited parking. However, they offer a good range of different products at mostly reasonable prices.

Service here is variable. At its best, it is efficient and friendly. Some staff members here lack consistency. One of the supervisors (Charlie) - in particular - lacks customer care and is aloof when interacting with customers.
