The British Queen — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I feel absolutely disgusted by the service I recieved this evening the woman behind the bar who looked to be the only memeber of staff on duty at this time, she was atrociously rude and obnoxious towards me and my friend. We simply asked to use their toilet and even offered to buy a drink and nicely she allowed us to after saying you needed to be a certain age after a certain time. Which is fair enough if I was buying a drink. However me and my friend got shown to the toilet then said we were not allowed to enter the toilet together, after showing our id for then for me to hear the same lady “oh there just a couple of gear heads” and slagging us off to the rest of the pub whilst everyone stared at me I felt uncomfortable and when my friend got out the toilet I said I didn’t want to use it anymore because of the state of the toilet itself, it had no upper toilet seat and black duck tape around it and was overall an un-hygienic mess! After leaving the pub followed by dirty looks and whispers I will never step foot in or anywhere near this so called “local pub” 0 ratings good luck to anyone...

Went in for a meal with a friend because I heard they had just started food. Wow what can I say. The pub was very friendly and the food was by far the best I've had since I cant remember. I really can not fault the place . Love it...
