Ravenous — Restaurant in Preston

First of all, the worker who was on the till didn't know what a macchiato was when my brother asked for one, instead she just gave him an iced caramel latte (which he didn't enjoy). Then when I ordered my drink, a cherry latte, I accidently ordered it hot because I forgot to mentioned I wanted it iced. So I saw the lady heating up the milk, so I told her then that I wanted it cold and apologised for ordering it wrong. She then spoke back rudely saying "Well you ordered it hot. It says here one cherry latte!!!". So I apologised a second time and said it was my mistake, and that I would like it iced please. She then repeated "I'VE ALREADY STARTED MAKING IT! And I can't change the price now. I need to charge you differently for that drink!!!" In a very foul tone, lots of bad attitude once again. It left me speechless as I've never had someone speak to me like that over a simple coffee order. It doesn't hurt to use manners if you can't remake a drink!

Then when I tried the cherry latte that I ordered with ONLY 1 shot of coffee, it came so dark, I poured it down the sink and it was a dark brown colour. Such strong coffee-flavoured, wish I knew that beforehand. There must've been at least 3 shots of coffee in there. Absolutely disgusting, no cherry flavour in there whatsoever! Would not ever get another drink from here again.

My brother and I both left with bad vibes and would never return to this cafe. The workers are either inexperienced or rude. I'm sure it was the owner herself who spoke very rudely with a bad attitude, so that's very disappointing. I'm sure this review will get a horrible reply from her as I've seen that she has a horrible way of addressing customers on their honest reviews like this. She can't take accountability for...

We stopped over for breakfast at this lovely cafe in Preston to break our journey to Glasgow.

My husband and I had the full English breakfast. We enjoyed our meal. The owner was nice and friendly and we had a nice little chat. Service was great. The owner made my meal exactly the way i like it, well cooked eggs and the bacon was also cooked exactly the way I like it, same with my husband's.

The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and we felt at home.

I definitely recommend, and I would definitely visit again if I am ever in the area.

We went for breakfast. We try a different cafe each month. Today was the turn of Ravenous. There was no greeting as we entered, no real eye contact and the woman who served us didn't crack a smile once. She seemed perturbed that my sister took a little while to decide what she wanted. The food was ok, it was cooked well. We were disappointed though with the long thin sausage no taste at all. The granary toast was lovely. We would have preferred seperate pots of tea when we requested two teas it came in one large pot. My sister likes weak tea I prefer it strong so we had to drink it fast.
