Just been into this branch with my autistic partner. After we ordered our sandwiches and to have them cheese and toasted they were both put in oven when came out my partner asked about the cheese as looked different she was spoken to in a rather harsh snotty tone and told it was exactly the same and they didn’t have the American cheese that they usually have and was given no other choice or anything and just asked what salad she wanted. The lady that served us is the manager of the branch and quite honestly how she got the job is beyond me as for a public service role she always seems to have an issue with general public. Once out of the shop my partner took one bite of her sandwich and couldn’t eat it as was nothing like American cheese and the different cheese used made her sandwich taste completely different and for her inedible and had to be binned. Read moreEarlier this morning, Luke, the area manager, contacted our store requesting a refund for an online order that had been placed at the wrong location. Our staff member politely explained that, given the order had already been processed, a refund was unfortunately not possible. Despite this, Luke chose to disregard the explanation and insisted, at length, that he knew better, even proceeding to lecture our staff member.
Should Luke have any further questions or concerns, he is welcome to visit the store in person for clarification. As an area manager, it would be beneficial for him to have a better understanding of how franchises operate, particularly when it comes to store policies.
