Where do I start? Nikki you are hands down one of the best in the business and most professional wedding catering company out of all the ones we sampled for our wedding. From the taster all the way through the day, you made it an experience, one to remember forever! You brought us in for a private taster at your restaurant (very clean, great set up with good mood lightening, and everything was on time). You asked for feedback not just positive but even when we didn’t think something went well, so you can get it right for our big day. Most importantly… YOU LISTENED! You went above and beyond, you read between the lines of what we were saying some how and you asked us enough questions to make sure you made the day special. When there were challenges with the venue, you kept us up to date as things progressed and also came with solutions for us. You never once seemed stressed or made us feel we were asking too much.

You got the perfect balance for an interracial wedding and you had everyone asking to take home more food. Some of our guests who usually wouldn’t touch certain foods were asking to take home afterwards. We’ve had so much feedback since the wedding of how great the food and service was. We’ve had some friends who are getting married soon ask us for your details and some that already got married recently wished they had used your company instead.

You didn’t only make enough food for the wedding you gave more to the guests that asked to take some home and sent us a package home to last us over a week. You did everything with great smile and extreme professionalism.

My only critic is you don’t blow your own trumpet enough of how great you are…. I guess you’re busy actually delivering your promise (and high standards) so you leave that to your clients, the whole wedding industry needs to have you high on their list.

Right from our first meeting with Avila foods about the prospect of catering at our wedding, we felt a real sense of excitement and knew we were onto a winner!

Avila's wide and varied menu catered not only to our tastes but clearly worked magic with our guests as we remain inundated with positive comments about the quality of food and professionalism of the entire team.

We were blown away by Avila's attention to detail and were blown away by the beautifully designed menu cards, outstanding décor and presentation - which were all made to match our vision for the day and demonstrated the extent to which Avila did go above and beyond to make our day a success.

We found Avila's customer service to be exceptional… both on the day and in the lead up to the wedding. Even with the pandemic, we found Avila to be extremely flexible and accommodating. Nothing was too much to ask and the response was always positive… case in point, we requested additional staff to handle drinks a few weeks to the wedding and Avila made it happen with a snap of her fingers! Taking away a huge burden from us.

Avila took time out of running a busy restaurant to have conversations with us, to ensure that the day was a success and frankly, this made us feel special. We can wholeheartedly say Avila was our top vendor!!

Even after the wedding, Avila's impact and foresight kept ringing true. A key highlight of our honeymoon was the delivery of assorted food packs by Avila that turned out to be feasts fit for royalty.

Nikki and the Avila Team, where do I begin?

I’ll start by thanking you on behalf of myself and my Husband, our family and friends. As our sole caterer for a Traditional Marriage reception, a Formal Wedding Breakfast and an Evening Buffet, you had a significant responsibility in contributing to our day being the success it was.

You certainly did not disappoint.

From my initial interaction some months ago where I was met with the utmost professionalism, warm and engaging manner to flexibility in approach, I already had the confidence in Avila as a brand.

Our taster at the restaurant in Reading could not have been a more pleasurable experience. Our expectations of Nikki and the team despite being already high, were in fact at this point exceeded. From then on, working with Nikki was an absolute joy and delight and could not have been easier.

Despite the array of culinary options we chose from canapes to European and African dishes, the food on the day itself was simply outstanding. Prepared and presented to the highest of exacting standards. From authentic and quality ingredients to generous portions, we could not have asked for more. In fact, our guests continue to complement the catering weeks on.
