Fancying myself as a bit of a tea connoisseur I pulled up to see what the hype was about. Having sampled many varieties of tea around the world and in people's houses 😂 I have developed a trained palate and a deep understanding of the drink. 😆
Some could call me a tea master or a tea sommelier. I can identify a tea's origin, aroma, and flavor from a mere sip. 😂
I am a trained professional with over 15 years of experience and have an in-depth knowledge of many types of tea and how to brew them to bring out their best. 🥱
The hood drillers call me a teaaholic and if english isn't your first language it describes someone who habitually drinks tea. In simple terms I love tea and tea loves me 😂❤️.
Anyway now that we got the introduction out the way, not that it was needed. The shop bangs. The tea is drinkable lol, I prefer mine fairly hot but not so hot that it burns your mouth, because that wouldn't be good would it?
I usually get a large cup because you get more in the large cup than a normal one 😂. It's worth the however many extra pence they charge. A good tip if it is too hot would be to take the lid off the cup or to blow gently on it. 😂. I sometimes open the shop 🚪 if it's cold and that helps too. Lol.
I love the doughnuts. Ovi the chocolate ones are my favourite. I usually get 2 boxes. One for now and one for later. Anyone would think I'm trying to OD on sugar but it's nothing like that.
The owner is very friendly. He knows I'm Top Boy arund here and plays his position. He knows when I speak, them man listen and I have the back of the roads firmly patterned.
One of my boys said the donuts are the best in Berkshire but I was more concerned if the word doughnut was spelt like this 🤔.
I suppose your a donut 🍩 if you haven't already been here. So anyone...
Read moreChaaye Paani Reading is our go to if we feel we need a spicy bite. The food is tasty, almost like home made and are reasonably priced. The serving is more decent compared to some other joints. The halwa that comes with the breakfast tray has a thicker texture and not too sweet which is nice! The omelette is wrapped with a paratha and it's just tasty as you can still taste the mild spice in every bite. Biggest thumbs up for the egg shami kebab...melt in your mouth goodness. Karak chai and pink chai is less sweet too which is perfect for us. Worth mentioning is the sheesh kebab chaat which is divine and fulfilling with its signature sauce. Lubna the friendly, lovely staff even plated us two donuts to try and I must say it was really good that we can't resist ordering a few for home. There are still other things on the menu that we need to try and we are certain we will not be...
Read moreThis Caffe is a small, but lovely caffe, situated between Subways and Papa John' pizza near Tesco's on Portman Road.
I was slightly annoyed that they only seem to have take away cups, however these are nicely and smartly designed, however this only encourages waste. C.P has a range of freshly maid doughnuts, pastries and drinks.
It was surprising to learn that the owner/employee was un-aware that guide dogs are allowed in virtually any premises including coffee shops. However, once i explained what a guide dog is for and why it needs to entre the owner/employee seemed to understand, and allowed us to drink our coffees there.
all in all one situation resolved, the employee was polite and we had a lovely...
