I think this place has delicious food, great atmosphere and hard working staff. I absolutely loveeee the jollof and turkey, puff puff and I can tell this place is going to go far. Unfortunately every time I have ordered the egusi soup it’s been very bitter; I’ve read this can be due to either using rancid/ improperly stored egusi seed, or for roasting far too long… anyways I stopped eating as I couldn’t bear the bitter taste, got a bit of a funny belly, and when I gave it a second chance and it was so so bitter again second time in a row I was upset because I really love egusi and this food place, and would love to order more from here it’s just I’m finding myself sending around £20something and throwing it straight in the bin and being hungry and a slightly funny toilet trip that same night each time. I think this business needs some improvement especially with the texture of the meals. The jollof rice is very tough and seems not well-cooked. Also the chicken and fish are very tough and not soft. Please work on this. I've already ordered twice and they were both the same. Everything else seems great. Friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere. I'm rooting for this business to thrive but I've gotta be honest and say you need to work on how your meals are prepared to provide a good culinary experience for all. I ordered jollof and it came with the hard crusts of rice from beneath the pot. Also ordered Waakye and it came with no stew or Gari and a half egg. The Waakye was also pretty dry and not flavourful at all. Please work on this! 3 stars...

Spoke with Patrick who was a great host, explained all my options so well (I’m vegetarian) and had the Jollof rice, plantain and bean stew. The plantain was some of the best I’ve eaten. Everything was full of flavour and authenticity, left with a nice full warm belly from all the spice! Amazing Ghanaian food, so glad I found this place. I hope they continue to maintain consistency in the quality of their food. I also hope they can look at even more vegetarian options, I can imagine this place becoming popular...
