Dixy Chicken Clitheroe — Restaurant in Ribble Valley

For all those familiar with the Dixy brand... You know what you're getting with a 'Dirty Dixy's.' Well... You should know what to expect and occasionally you play Dixy roulette and get a meal that's unsatisfactory. However, I've been coming to this Clitheroe branch since I moved here nearly 2 years ago and I've had nothing but positive experiences. The staff, food, service overall put this Dixy Chicken branch at the very top. On a couple of rare instances my food has taken a little longer to be prepared or arrive on delivery, the staff have recompensed me with extra chicken or garlic bread completely free without request. So if you're feeling the need indulge in some classic cheap chicken shop fast food. The Clitheroe Dixy's is by far the best option in the Northwest that I've ever come across. Credit where it's due, these lads deserve some merit for their hardwork towards the local...

Used to really love this place but it's definitely gone down hill in the last year. Given it the benefit of the doubt enough times now. Ordered about 2 months ago and the food was just awful. Tried again a few weeks back and it was good again so I was hopeful it back back to its usual good self. Nope. Ordered again tonight, two hours it took for food to arrive. Missing most of order. I ordered pizza. Chips, drink and burger. Pizza arrived 2 hours later. Told delivery guy I was missing burger,chips and drink. Came back 10 mins later with only burger. Said I'm still missing chips and drink. He said he'd be back.after 40mins I guess he isn't coming back. Well that's me done with ordering from dixys from now on....

Regrettably, my recent experience with Dixy Chicken was a series of disappointments. Despite clear instructions, they failed to adhere to them, leaving me with uneatable food that arrived super cold after an hour-long delay. To make matters worse, there was no attempt to communicate for the tardiness. Suffice it to say, I won't be giving them another chance. I wish that I could have given less than 1 star... They do not even deserve...
