khyber takeaway — Restaurant in Ribble Valley

First time ordering tonight. I seen the website mentions they deliver to Sabden. But the lad who took my call had to clear this with his boss first.....

Wanted a large mixed kebab for me and the Mrs. Then asked what he would recommended for an authentic curry. To then be told they don't serve curries (Bit of a suprise. But if I looked properly beforehand I would have seen that curries aren't on the menu).

Got recommended a keema box. So I went with that and a large mixed kebab....

First Impressions SALTY! Like really salty! The keema box is 10" pizza box with some fries, keema, and Donner meat on top. The keema wasn't anything like a curry. But mutton keema cooked in a very salty stock with a touch of chilli heat. The Donner meat is the generic mass produced Donner. Wouldn't like to say if it contained any lamb. But it wasn't terrible. But paired together.... So dehydrating! First tastes were nice. But after a few mouthfuls. It was just too much. Even with a glass of water to wash it down. Either way. We both finished it....

Next up. The large mixed kebab. Again, generic Donner meat. With some chunks of tandoori style chicken. Yet again... Salty! The chicken was cooked nicely. But really over concentrated tandoori style marinade.

I asked for salad and sauces separately. Which we got. But even them as palate cleansers couldn't take away from the crazy over salting of everything else!

I think I'm very fair in reviewing as a three star here. It should probably be a two. But portions were okay. Delivery time was accurate. The food all seemed clean! Just again.......

My husband and I recently collected a takeaway from Khyber Restaurant, and as always, the food was amazing! We love their pizzas, so this time we ordered pizza, wings, and fries, everything was perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour.

It was actually our first time trying their wings, and they turned out to be a total game changer! We’ve realised that it’s not just their pizzas, their wings are absolutely amazing too.

Our guests at home loved the food so much that they joked they’ll only visit us again if we’re getting Khyber’s takeaway! 😂 The service was quick, the staff were friendly, and the quality was spot on as always. Highly recommend Khyber , you really can’t go wrong with anything from...

Food was that good last night, called in again today!! Today it was chicken tikka (asked for it well done, and it was. The chicken fell to pieces so delicately, beautiful...) with garlic naan, onion bhaji, salad and the side dips. Food was absolutely marvellous. Chicken cooked to perfection. Naan was huge. Onion bhaji tasty and crispy, also not fatty as they can sometimes be elsewhere. The manager Tiff as always so friendly, also offering superb customer service by having the food ready in speedy fashion. Thanks again guys, will...
