Just had a fantastic takeaway meal from this lovely restaurant in Clitheroe, I ordered it on Friday afternoon just to make sure we wouldn’t miss out. We ordered 1/2 crispy duck with pancakes, our Son had salt and pepper mushrooms, my wife had salt and pepper chicken fillets and I had the salt and pepper King Prawns. A large bag of Prawn crackers, our Son had the Hot and Spicy special with salt and pepper chips and we had the Special meat curry with fried Rice. All the food was delicious. A young man brought it out to the car for us. Thank you, enjoy

Spent £60 on a takeaway, they made me pay over the phone which was a little inconvenient. I live 5 mins away from the restaurant, a lot of the food was Luke warm, the salt and pepper dishes were tasteless and soggy. Full of oil. The hot and spicy chicken main was mild and bland with oil separating in the sauce vegetables over cooked and soggy. First time trying, will not be back. Also charged us for prawn crackers when spending £60 on a take out which is a first for me.

Great atmosphere, good food. 👍👍👍 Thank you for the off-the-menu vegetarian delicacies!!! Truly love the home-style cooking.

I really don't like to leave bad reviews but I was so annoyed after leaving this restaurant, I have shared my mixed reviews below.

Decided to book a table here after we had such a good takeaway, the lady behind the bar, when we picked the takeaway up was so lovely. I rung up to book a table and I mentioned if they could seat me somewhere I could fit the pram, the lady on the phone then asked how big the pram was as they are only a small resteraunt and I did mention my baby is not old enough to be seated in a highchair. I thought it was a bit strange but I proceeded to book the table.

On arrival we was greeted by a lovely gentleman that even offered to help with the pram through the door, as we were waiting to be seated, he went over to the bar to check our booking and he spoke with the lady at the bar. The waiter came back to tell us we were seated near the door entrance, this was not appropriate, not just because we would of blocked the doorway for other customers but it was the evening and the weather was cooler and not appropriate for my baby, with it being a busy restaurant, the door was always being opened regularly for bookings and takeaway collection. I told the gentleman I rung especially to mention I had a pram, we then mentioned if they could sit us in the corner, he then went back to to the lady behind the bar, who was very reluctant to sit us there, I was made to feel like a major inconvenience, I was very nearly ready to cancel our booking but eventually the lady agreed we could sit there. This restaurant is advertised as a family restaurant who also caters for special occasions, such a shame as the food is delicious and the gentleman waiter was the only saving grace being so nice. I will not be eating here again as I was made to feel embarrassed and an inconvenience as a paying customer, people with young families I would book elsewhere it's not...

(Updated after regular patronage. Still 5 stars.) Delicious and good quality food from this small Cantonese. (Rating as takeaway. Was a restaurant, moved to operating as takeaway only during Covid restrictions. I think they have re-opened for eat-in again recently.) We generally order from the vegan page of the menu (about time a couple more options were added on this page though). Vegetables are not overcooked; a good selection of veg with some regular/seasonal variation. Seasoned just right (spicier on request) and there is no sloppy sauce. Typical veg includes bean sprouts, cabbage, carrot, courgette, green beans, peppers, cauliflower, broccoli. Salt and pepper mushrooms are firm, tossed in seasoning with a little leaf, plenty of garlic and seasoning. Chips are perfectly cooked and...

We came at my Dad's recommendation. We had the set B menu. I will be back I am prepared to make the 2 hour drive because that was hands down the best Chinese I have ever had. The staff brought a Lancashire friendliness that cannot be faked. Just joyful and attentive. If you only eat one dish the special in garlic sauce would be my suggestion. So good my other half mopped up the excess sauce and would probably have drank it. Excellent food, prepared to order with wonderful contrasting flavours and textures. It didn't feel too naughty either because there was plenty of veg involved. I will also praise the soups often to salty but not here. Both were very tasty...
