Friday 16th of July we visited for a much anticipated whiskey tasting , we had spoken to Gary 2 weeks prior and he organised the whole thing for us and it was brilliant ! The staff as always were polite and accommodating and we had a fantastic afternoon , Gary's whiskey choices and knowledge were second to none and I couldn't rate this place high enough.... 5 stars all day long ,thanks so much for a great afternoon/ evening what I can remember of it šŸ˜• #wonky

Love this place and the cocktail menu is different and imaginative. Also, the non alcoholic cocktails taste just like the real thing and not just juice. Rustic and contemporary decor and very friendly staff. We felt so welcome and will be back. Sitting at the window was a bonus, too as it looks out into the town and we watched the world go by.

Dog friendly and on-trend cafe that morphs into a gin fuelled cocktail lounge. Venturing into Clitheroe? Then make sure to pack your cocktail dresses along with your hiking gear. During the day they pander to people with a hankering for beverages incorporating edible glitter and over the top quantities of whipped cream.

The cafe was lovely as it has been on prior visits but upon walking in we were nervous because the staff behind the bar were glancing between each other and giving us hostile looks simply because we were a group of teenagers. They immediately took us away from prying eyes to a secluded area on the top floor despite there being room downstairs and us being quiet. The food was lovely but after the first person from our group ordered and we were waiting for the hot food menu to be open as it said on the website it would open at two, in actual fact they told us it would open at three, after the first person had already received their order, despite it being obvious we would order food and not alcoholic beverages due to us being teenagers. We were informed that it was necessary for all of us to order something after the first person had already ordered so we couldn't even change our minds, even though if we were adults this wouldn't be the case. They also sat us somewhere where we had to leave by a certain time even though there was space somewhere else and once again, did not inform us of this time limit prior. The food however was lovely, we left the table clean and the area tidy, and we would've enjoyed it more if the staff weren't so hostile. We would like to see improvement in service and more respect for teenagers and not buying into usual stereotypes - we are paying...

Lovely bar staff, served by lovely Red haired young man whose dad owns wine shop, lovely polite young bouncer on door BUT whoever you have seating people stands out as one of the rudest, condescending and bad mannered service people I have met on my 59 years on this planet - I was in a group of 10 people willing to spend a substantial amount of money on cocktails. It was 11pm and she tried her best to make it difficult for us to be seated in a relatively empty bar. She only allowed us to be seated when I suggested she relax and take into account the amount of money that was in the verge of walking out of the door. Then I think she contemplated her bosses may want the money over her shutting up shop as quickly as posdiblr so she could go dancing with her friend 2 members of our( 40s to 60s) group felt the need to challenge her manner and patronising attitude which i have never seen either of the 2 do before - entitled little princess, springs to mind who has zero experience or knowledge of customer care and how to respond to a bunch of grown, professional adults in a respectful manner - seriouslyyyy who,, does she think...

Having just walked through the door escaping from heavy rain we tryed to remove are coat as we were directed to a table and pointed a QR code label on it ... I was told to hover my camera over it which had no effect in fact i just have several pictures off it .... 5 members of staff stood a metre away pretty much ignored my requests for help ... but managed to her my girlfriends frustration "come on i can't be bothered" thats noted in your response to her .... I've read your pity poor reasons for rude service and how your attempting to reinvent the wheel radical menu ideas ... can i just point out that service serving requires good etiquette and manners that are fundamental to a successful of any food and drink establishment. If you want this to work i,d suggest training your staff to explain this better and make sure there set up before walking off ..... It strikes me that customer service is not a high priority. So please feel free to continue polishing your own ego.... pretentious sad .... the old sayings are the best customers...
