Booked for dinner on a Sunday and its a good job I did as it was so busy. As vegans its a very limited menu with nothing labelled, although they have vegan cheese but even the choice of pizza to adapt is limited. In the past I have messaged several times asking if any wines are vegan or could they send photos so I could research it myself but never had a reply. Anyway our table overlooked the bar, I took a picture of the wines and did a quick Google and found all were vegan. It puzzles me why they ignored my request, as it means more revenue for them. We ordered some olives, Marinara pizza and a vegan funghi pizza with no cheese as my husband isn't keen on vegan cheese and two glasses of Sassolino Bianco, followed by two glasses of Sangiovese. The olives are amazing the best ever, the pizzas were delicious, with the classic leopard spots on the crust typical of Neopolitan pizza. We demolished every mouthful then had two espresso coffees too also really good. Our front of house team Andrew and Remo were brilliant especially as they were run ragged as it was so busy, but even under pressure they were polite, friendly and efficient.

On a short day trip to Clitheroe we tried to find some pubs that were selling food in the area. None were either open or were serving food. Then we came across Pizzeria Dough. The waiter did warn us of the long wait due to bigger orders being placed before us. However despite this, the pizza served here was one of the best I have ever had. Along with a delicious lemonade. The pizza is handmade and 12" in size. It was unbelievably nourishing, the grease and sogginess of it was unbelievable. If you compared the pizza here to say Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Pizza would be a VW Golf and Pizzeria Dough Pizza would be a Rolls Royce. The atmosphere was amazing, the entire restaurant is themed out to perfection and the service was amazing too, the waiter was so kind and friendly.. If you're in the area, you need to come here. It's placed in the heart of Clitheroe so is an amazing stop by location.

I want to start by saying the food here was lovely. I cannot fault the calzone pizza I had with some truffle fries. But, the venue was a massive let down for me and my partner. The heat in the restaurant was unbearable, when you walk in it is immediately stuffy and so so hot. Also, the booth seat was about 8 inches higher than the regular seat, so I felt like it was a giant vs a midget sat at our table, just weirdly unproportionate. The service was overall ok, but it took a while for us to be served and also they kept forgetting to bring water when we asked a few times. Overall cannot give dough more than 3 stars due to the atmosphere and service letting the place down, better off getting a takeaway.

The customer service is horrendous. I heard a lot of good things about this place so wanted to try it out with my sister. We didn’t book in as on their Instagram bio it states WALK IN’S. upon arrival we asked for a table for 2 with a high chair, a women stated that they are fully booked out and just turned away with arrogance and continued to ignore us. Then we asked if we can wait for a table, a another colleague came and said no, we only do book in, and Walk in’s at certain time. BUT ITS NOT STATED ON THEIR INSTAGRAM. He had the audacity to roll his eyes and not even apologise. We traveled from far with a 1 years old. I understand the place must be busy and fully booked. But saying it with abit more sympathy and kindness wouldn’t have hurt them! I would have returned, but due to the way the staff handled the situation has put me...
