The Half Moon — Restaurant in Rochford

This pub worked out OK for a quick drink with friends before going off to a restaurant across the road. The atmosphere was buzzing. There were lots of people of mixed age groups. I like my gin in nice gin glasses when I go out and they came up trumps and served our drinks in really lovely gin glasses so all was good that end! Staff were polite and friendly. Prices for drinks were average pub prices. Would definitely visit again going by my experience on Saturday...

We popped in on Saturday night to get a feel for the place before we play here in March. The lounge was shut off as there was a private function but that was better for the band as it was a squeeze and people were into it. Great service, good selection of drinks and a great atmosphere for live music. Looking forward to our gig here.

What a wonderful environment to spend a few days as my brother and I did. The rooms very comfortable all your needs met. The food is incredible using local produce as much as possible. The pub is very welcoming as are the owners and those in the bar staff. I highly recommend the Half Moon,when there, take a walk around Picture Postcard village as well the church. Wish my stay were longer.we both hope we can return...
