Kerry's Cafe and Wine Bar — Restaurant in Rother

Terrible im currently walking 7.000 miles to raise money for children with terminal cancer and was told by a friend i would get a warm welcome here but sadly on arrival was greeted by rude unfriendly judgemental staff all they seen was my dogs and rucksack and seemed to think i was asking for free food when in fact all i was asking was if it was ok to sit outside with my dogs and order then was refused service at my table sorry but the Day before i was served outside at a fish shop so really Wasn't great service hence my one star review and quite frankly im upset having to give one star as none would be...

UPDATE : Tues 12/08/2025. Firstly, very friendly owner and staff, superb service (Freya) but so was the young lady who took my order at the till.

My cheese and tomato toastie was delicious and I tried their protein drink which was scrumptious!

Reasonable prices and fast service. I highly recommend, - As Arnie says... "I'll be back" 😊

Four years ago :-

A little gem of cafe and bar. Very pleasant staff and quick service. Nice soup and bacon bap, coffee and a tea. Would visit again when in the area. Well behaved dogs welcome and a nice touch that you can buy treats and the money goes to the guide...

My wife and I went here for a coffee and a Bacon Bap, both of which were very good. The cafe itself is very clean, well organised, light and airy, with a good view of beach and sea. The staff are very courteous and efficient. I did find that cakes and biscuits etc were a little expensive in comparison to the savoury food on offer. Nevertheless, I would definitely return here. And we did just that today! Still as good as before and, even though it was really very hot outside, there was a lively fresh breeze running through this café which kept the whole place cool; it was great sit in a cool place...
