If you love Indian food and appreciate a curry that’s done properly, then Indian Nights in Radcliffe-on-Trent needs to be on your radar.

I ordered the butter chicken, and it was exactly what I’ve been searching for – rich, tomato-based, and absolutely bursting with flavour. No coconut in sight (which is a welcome change from what I usually find locally). It was comforting, full-bodied, and clearly made with real skill and care.

The meal came with fluffy rice, a lovely warm naan, and the classic extras – mango chutney, onion salad – all fresh and beautifully presented. Every part of the dish complemented the other, and it felt like a proper restaurant-quality experience at home.

I’ve already placed a second order, and after a quick, friendly chat with the chef, I’m confident the next meal will be just as good. Their customer service is spot on, and they clearly take pride in what they do.

They appear to deliver through Uber Eats (and probably other apps too), but it’s worth checking directly with them for the best option.

Disaster from start to finish, was told on ordering that delivery would be 30mins and also that if we wanted one onion bhaji each we would need two portions. One hour later and I call them to find out where our food is, it is on route and they apologise as whoever took the order should have said 45mins to an hour. Another 20mins and it arrives but the delivery driver has no change for us! He manages to scrape a pound from his pocket with a promise that he'll give us the rest next time as we're regulars (we haven't ordered from here for around a year), told him it didn't matter although rather annoying when I hadn't planned on leaving a tip due to the wait. I have been coming to Indian Nights in Radcliffe for many years and the food is always very, very good indeed. The chicken is so fresh and tasty, their lamb is very tender and simply the best. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They will cater for any specific requirements, less chilly, more chilly, even sprinkle green chillies on top if required.
