I am disappointed to have to leave a poor review for the Gloster as previously we have been really impressed. This afternoon, Friday we went out for a late lunch and although our burgers were excellent as usual, our daughter was really disappointed in the wrap that she had as there was virtually no chicken in it . We politely mentioned it to the waiter who spoke to the chef in the kitchen, and apparently the chef said that’s what it supposed to be like ! The chef should’ve just apologised, added more chicken and bacon and sent the meal back out, but this didn’t happen . The waiter did try his best to resolve the situation and offered a replacement. However, my daughter had lost confidence in the chef and was concerned over what may happen to her food if she complained again. Waiter did give us a refund, but it was really disappointing to know that the chef was more interested in protecting what was a very poor quality meal that he’d sent out rather than just apologise and fix the issue. I would suggest the Gloster management have some words with the chef who was on this afternoon and get him to be more customer aware.
