Well, where can you find such quality at such a price? I am a frequent diner at L’Ortolan in Reading and I can assure you the food at the Gallery Restaurant tonight was as good as the aforementioned……when you realise these young people , ( let’s be honest here, most of them are probably under 19yrs old) it is quite humbling …..they are professional, engaging, very good at what they do and are a credit to themselves. Amazing! I almost don't want to spoil a local secret. Food all prepared, cooked and served by students to their utmost best, very impressive for students almost straight out of school. The bar staff prepared cocktails to a standard as good as a well known local airport hotel! The overall attention to detail would put many restaurants to shame. The taster menu is excellent. Well...
