Poppins Restaurant & Cafe - Farnborough — Restaurant in Rushmoor

Every time I come to this restaurant in Farnborough, my experience is always top notch. Everyone who works there are kind, caring, friendly and hardworking. In my last two visits, I have been served by a young Turkish lad called Wolkin, (I think that’s how you spell his name). He is a very friendly, chatty, enthusiastic, funny and hardworking guy who deserves a huge amount of praise. His customer service skills is one of the best I have had from any place I’ve been to; he’s an amazing guy! I love his sense of humour!

The food is fantastic! In my last two visits, today and yesterday, I ordered the cheese burger and chips. The burger is juicy with great flavour and the chips is crispy but with great depth of flavour which is why I don’t add salt on it. The chips are exactly how I like them. I have had curry here as well and they always do a great job on that too. The chocolate fudge cake is the dessert I would definitely recommend as the portion alongside the main is great and it tastes amazing too.

I would definitely recommend this place to go for lunch in Farnborough! If the young Turkish guy serves you, you’ll be a very happy customer like me as...

hopefully you take this as constructive criticism and not me being rude. Firstly the good points, your place was clean, staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The toast was done perfectly. Food wise I had the big breakfast. The meat was very low quality, the sausages were cheap which reflected in the taste and texture, the bacon was chewy and my egg was under cooked. I shall add I am from up north and live in the countryside so I am used to a certain grade of meat. If you could source proper Linconshire/Cumbrian sausages and British bacon youd be the place to go as I looked around at other breakfast places and they are either low quality or pretentious. hope you find this...

The food was nice, although portion sizes are a little small. The cafe was busy, but waiters were walking around and two waiters were told to take our order, then a third waiter came. For a cafe it was quite expensive, I know the price of everything has gone up, will be visiting now and again. Also they have an allergy board up, but put it behind a table and chair, as a couple was sat there, I couldn't get in to see the board properly. This needs moving to the otherside of the counter, near the toilets, so can see the two boards properly. Would recommend this cafe if you're in...
