Good Taste Bakery — Restaurant in Rushmoor

Me and my boyfriend go to this café all the time, and apart from the expensive prices for food (Im a poor student but whatever) they are really lovely and the food is super nice. Really nice cakes. The staff there seem to be pretty much all full time so they are there every day and most are super friendly. The owner, at times, can be grumpy.

When there was a disturbance caused by an extremely rude and unkind group sitting next to us, we were given free iced coffee to make up for the disturbance (and the fact that I was visibly upset over something else at the cafe)

On 1st April 2012, I bought a panini (prawn and crab) and mocha with cream. I found that the service was not up to my expectations for the following reasons;

Service: The personnel were untrained and incompetent. The utensils were dirty. Also, the staff used cutlery from the sink take out in front of the customer.

Mocha with cream: The chocolate was expended and they used a sachet as a substitute. Obviously, the taste was below par. In addition, the waiter who prepared the mocha stirred the chocolate with a dirty teaspoon from the sink.

Panini (prawn and crab): The grill upon which the panini was cooked was filthy. The filling had an unpleasant taste and smell.

I have tried to contact with the manager regarding this but...

Tony consistently provides outstanding service at Good Taste. No matter how busy he is preparing sandwiches or cooking, he always takes the time to welcome everyone with a smile. He goes above and beyond by offering a menu rather than just directing customers to the board, ensuring we know all the options available.
