(There are two visits, one review for each visit!):
Visit One: Our visit to Prezzo’s Farnborough branch was a culinary delight from start to finish. Opting for a three-course meal, we were excited to explore their menu offerings.
Utilizing a taste card, we found great value in our dining experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the pasta dishes. The carbonara stood out with its creamy, rich flavor and perfectly cooked pasta, embodying the authentic taste of Italy. Other pasta selections on the table were equally impressive, each dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.
Our server, Martina, played a significant role in making our visit memorable. Her service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and efficient. Martina’s recommendations and timely service added a personal touch, enhancing our overall dining experience.
Prezzo Farnborough offered a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed meal. The quality of food combined with the excellent service made our visit truly enjoyable.
Visit Two: Returning to Prezzo Farnborough for a second visit, we were curious to see if they could replicate the high standards set during our first experience. To our satisfaction, they did just that.
Our servers for the evening, Ivonna and Magda, were excellent. They provided prompt and attentive service, ensuring everything from drinks to desserts was served smoothly. Their professionalism added to the overall positive experience of our meal.
The menu choices continued to impress us. We tried the strawberry lemonades, a new item for us, and found them refreshingly delightful. The carbonara, a dish we savored during our previous visit, remained consistently good with its rich and flavorful sauce.
A new addition for us was the chicken dish. It was well-prepared, seasoned effectively, and stood out as a highlight of the meal. The taste and quality were testament to the kitchen’s skill.
The starters were notable as well. They arrived in a timely manner, each acting as a pleasant introduction to the next course without making us feel rushed.
The modern decor of the restaurant, which we had appreciated during our initial visit, once again contributed positively to the dining atmosphere. It provided a contemporary backdrop that complemented the dining experience.
In summary, our second visit to Prezzo Farnborough confirmed the restaurant’s capability in delivering a quality dining experience. The combination of good food, efficient service, and a pleasant setting makes it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal. It’s reassuring to see that Prezzo continues to maintain its high standards, making it a preferred dining...
Read moreHaven't been to Prezzo for a while now, like most people-money conscious, but thought we'd treat ourselves to lunch. Don't think I'll be back any time soon. Maybe it's changed since I last went but very disappointed with the portion size and quality of the food. Paid an extra £3 to have a 'larger' pizza.... It may be my mistake but it seemed like the dough was for the normal size one and was stretched out soooo thin it was burnt in so many places it was like eating charcoal. Pizza base and the chicken was so, so dry I was grateful for the grease from the pepperoni to provide something to help me swallow the dry, hard, cardboard pizza. 2 sides for £7 was a rip off. 3 Mac and cheese balls and a portion of fries fit for a kids happy meal. Again, maybe it's because it's been a while since we have been to a prezzo restaurant, maybe it's their usual standard now but I won't be revisiting. We went during a promotional offer so we got the main meals for a 99p, I still feel I paid too much. This restaurant never seems busy whenever I have walked past (which is fairly often) has maybe 30/40 tables yet only ever see a maximum of 6/10 filled, maybe this is why? And also for a place that's always so quiet it was very dirty along the ledges by the window, not nice when it was in full view while eating my lunch. Also when first arriving and ordering the drinks, we said to the guy no ice, yet we were given a glass with ice. May be petty to some, but just shows lack of attention from staff. What I can't fault is a blonde lady, maybe the manager was very welcoming when we arrived...
Read moreI booked a table for 4 people for last night. Good start - shown to our table promptly. Took a while coming with our drinks orders and not all at the same time. Food order taken (after us having to chase them) and a little wait before food arrived - again, not all plates served at the same time. One hot dish getting cold while we waited for final salad to arrive. We were VERY disappointed with all the meals (an understatement!). The size of the salad portions were extremely small and consisted mostly of leaves - the quantity of the protein on them was barely visible. The chicken on two salads looked as though it was one small chicken breast divided into two portions and the goats cheese on the other two dishes seemed to have been thrown from a great distance and most pieces having missed the dish!! I remember having 'pizza' bread served with the salads when I've been before, and no bread here, and also the quantity of ingredients certainly much larger. In fact the whole party was still hungry and had to have puddings to try and make up for it, but we all still felt empty when we got home. On top of all that, the bill still seemed very large, considering£40 was taken off with vouchers, It was the cost of drinks that pushed the price up and we only had one each. Red wine over £7 a glass is over the top for a restaurant such as this. Such a shame the evening was spoilt. We have been to Prezzo quite a few times and have always had a good meal ..... until now. I certainly won't be...
