how do you rate a McD's?? ok, lets try this... its a McD's so dont expect fancy evening time entertainment whilst dinning on incredible cuisine. its an extremely busy fast food place barely out of central manchester next to two major educatiomal centres, Salford Uni, and the School of medicine .. or whatever its called this week. The staff here are as good as any McDonald's staff amywhere in the UK. n that IS actually quite high praise. McD's expect their staff to be customer focused but everyone has bad days. sometimes that can be infectious n an entire team of people become lethargic n grumpy. I use this McD's fairly regularly n ive not had a visityet where the staff we'ren't 100%. n that includes one day where the place got robbed while my partner n i were in the queue! ok, one girl had to go have a sit down, but there was no panic n the rest of the staff just got on with their day. impressive.
There's other ways to grade a McD's though.. eg, there no outside grassy "picnic area", unlike one of the McD's on the A55. You rarely see dog walkers grabbing a snack while their pups get some water n rest, unlike a couple of McD's I know of in more roral areas. Unlike one or two other McD's ive visited over the years the staff here have always been good natured n friendly.

Even though the order didn’t contain anything I dislike, the server made my cheeseburger with no cheese (my mistake – I only wanted no pickles) with bare hands, tossed it to the side, then picked up delivery bags and other items before finally serving me. This wasn’t the first time she touched other things before handling food.
The toilets smelled like piss so bad I almost puked and lost my appetite. I went inside just to wash my hands and ended up with wet sleeves because the sinks are only about 10 cm long. Soapy water was all over the floor. No way to leave without touching two dirty door handles as both doors open inward.
The noise level of the music is insane and unsupervised kids made it sound like a circus even through noise cancelling headphones.
The cheeseburger (just a bun and meat) was slightly burnt and completely tasteless. The Fanta was watered down, and I asked for it with no ice, but still couldn’t taste anything. I didn’t get a receipt 12 minutes earlier, so I couldn’t ask for a fix on the cheeseburger either. No complaints about the fries and chicken nuggets.

The service wasn't even worth the one star I've had to give it. Aside from the fact the manager was stood on the front counter texting and then loudly announced "im going to the toilet" across the restaurant.
We ordered £20 worth of breakfast and 4 times we had to go up and fix our order. Firstly thet didn't shout out our number it was just left in the hash brown section to "keep warm" then they hash browns were not with our order, they could be forgiven for missing one off the order but there were 4 missing. We then were never given cutlery for the pancakes so when I asked a member of the dining area staff they just said "I don't know where they are I cant help" she didn't even attempt to look or help us, she just dismissed us. And when we did ask at the front counter we were greeted by a member of staff who said "I didn't put your order together its not my fault". We then never actually got the syrup for the pancakes but based on the fact we've already had to fix our a number of times it wasn't worth it.
