Hi all, here an employee of Media City just passing by to let you know that: 🗒 First of all, we do not choose the prices, so people who complaint that Pret is too expensive💷 I'm afraid but there is not much that the team can do to sort this out , if you would like to leave any suggestions for our improvement please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service team, they will be more than happy to take it in consider. ✔️ Rude staff? Not smiling doesn't mean being rude, we have people from all different countries and with many types of personalities, 👾 they seems to be cold but they are not at all, we give quite a lot of stuff on the house to our customers to make them feel welcome and we always try our best to be as fast as possible for those who are a bit in a rush.. 🙈Apologise for any inconvenience that any member of our team could caused you but it is not our intention to make anybody feel bad or unhappy with our service, 😓we are working very hard everyday to serve everybody in the best way we can, we are a busy company and we work under a lot of pressure.. 😮💨, the same way we do have patience with some of our unhappy costumers, I would like them to also be patience with us because sometimes people forget that we also get tired, we can also have bad days, we also get sick.. we are also humans! 👽so please, let's have a bit of emphaty and patience because there is only one life and we need to enjoy it!! 🥳So do not worry if somebody doesnt smile at you , we still care about you! 😜 If the waiting time for coffees is big is because we only have two hands, and 50 coffees to be ready in less than a minute each of them, ⏱we work under a lot of stress and always trying our best, we always apologise for the wait and offer refunds for those who have been waiting longer than expected.. ⚖️Our machines work the same way that the ones from other coffee shops, so we can't change the speed of it as we always give our customers fresh coffee bases, ☕️ so I can only say sorry for those who left unhappy from our shop after a long wait to get their drinks.. 😔we deal with lots and lots of drinks a day plus we also have many requests like: wet, dry, coconut, soya, oat, decaff, iced, frappe, smoothies , syrups , weak, dash.. etc ... which takes longer.. 😅so once again please be patience with us, we really work hard and try to do the job the best we can! ☺️ I hope this clarified somebody's idea of what Pret team do, for those sharing their thoughts trough social media please do not be afraid and come to talk to us in person, 💬we do not bite 😛we will do our best to find a solution for your requests!! 🤝 I hope who read this have/had a wonderful day!! 😚😚😚 I hope to see you soon...
Read moreI visited on Tuesday the 25th at around 2.30pm, The shop is clean and very tidy and sort of well stocked, a lot of drinks available in cold fridge but food was lowish, but being the time and area of the shop this is understandable!
I found the woman I ordered from to be very abrupt when ordering, she had turned her back to me go carry on cleaning even before I had payed for my sandwiches, this I did find rude, it doesn’t take 2 seconds to say thankyou for paying enjoy, I know this as I have worked in coffee shops for a number of years!
I massive no no that I saw was two staff members having heated words with each other! As a customer this is not something we want to see or that we should! The young man working had asked something to the blonde haired lady working behind the counter, and she has snappy replied “ can’t you see I am cleaning” and raised her voice, I understand sometimes it can be frustrating working in a care environment as I work in one myself but never should this been seen by customers!
Overall the coffee and food is always good at this pret, sometimes I wish the staff could also...
Read moreVisited Salford quays have been in there numerous times as very close to where I live the staff are always lovely. This morning I went in to be met by a really unfriendly and unpleasant server . I had my tiny chihuahua dog with me as I have numerous times . The server retored “ no dogs in here “ I was completely taken a back as I had been in there numerous times with my dog and have never been spoken to in such an unpleasant manner . While I fully appreciate and accept that Is a policy , there is always a way of speaking to customers politely snd pleasantly. Interestingly while I was outside , a man went into the cafe with a dog off its lead when he exited I asked him if he had been told no dogs , he confirmed he had not!
