Sip Monton — Restaurant in Salford

FABULOUS! I can't rate the food as our visit was before the food offering started, on the very first night of being open, but WOW! what a stunning place to drop in for a cocktail or to spend a leisurely evening. The Margarita Flight was absolutely breathtaking and I could have stayed on that all night but we were there 'cos we wanted to check out the new kid on the block - the 'talk of the town', so we had to explore more. Every single cocktail, alcoholic or not, was stunning, beautifully presented and served with a smile. The service was exemplary and our welcome from all of the staff was warm and friendly; just perfect. So nice not to be pestered with "Is everything alright?" all evening but anything we wanted was swiftly and attentively sorted with a smile. This fabulous new bar venture is romantic and moodily lit and is beautifully clean and the loos are lovely, decorated with a sense of fun too. We popped in for a quick drink before dinner and were so glad we did! The door was opened for us as we entered, and we were immediately shown to a table. The staff explained that it was table service, and they poured us some water right away. The atmosphere inside is absolutely stunning, and the service was top-notch—attentive without being overbearing. The drinks were fantastic, clearly crafted with care. We were surprised to learn that the bar had only been open for 2 hours and hadn’t even had its official launch yet. Had the best evening at Sip Monton. It was my first time here and can honestly say the cocktails blew my socks off. I had a couple of negronis, the famous 50/50 and a spicy Marg - not one fault. Service was awesome, the place had a great vibe and attention to detail was second to none. I was asking for some advice and the owner who was there explained all of the different elements they make themselves on site that goes into their cocktails - unbelievably knowledgable.

I didn’t have the food but it looked great and I’ll save some room to try it next time.
