First we booked the table a week ago Table was laid one place short Had to ask at least 6 times for a chair and place settings. The first person we asked said we wasn’t allowed to take a chair from another table ourselves. Food was ok frozen Yorkshires disappointing Beef was tough . On whole food was ok.. Paid £4.95 for cheesecake it came out small portion solid frozen Not only that IT was just like a £1 from Iceland absolute rip off very dissatisfied they should not be allowed to serve this to customers. The waitress that served this was so rude she snatched the plate then eventually when it came back runny from one extreme to another she practically threw it at me & didn’t offer me any cutlery to eat it with. And not one single apology for frozen dessert or for laying table wrong & telling us just to wait. Then to top it all off they then kicked us off the table After 1 1/2 hours as they had rebooked the table out But failed to point this out to us On booking or on arrival. On the whole this was a celebration meal for my daughter’s birthday one which we didn’t feel welcome or comfortable enough to sing Happy...

Always on the look out for somewhere decent to go and what a find! Service was good, place was cozy everyone in there seemed relaxed which is a massive positive. Everything I asked did not seem a bother to them. Meals were a good size and quality was very good. Myself I'm not too keen on massive onion rings just don't think they taste as good as the smaller ones but they were the best large onion rings I have tried will give them that! Beans instead of peas on the mixed grill was a nice touch and again very tasty (wonder if you could swap to peas if requested for next time🤔) The cheesecake although salted caramel is also not my favorite prefer lemon or Oreo, it was still to die for really shocked me! I can find no real reason why I would not return or why I would not recommend to others. They do so many things right! Need to pop back when not driving to sample there beers didn't really see what ales they have on offer so can not comment but if as good as there food should be no issues at all. Bell & bear inn have already raised the bar very high for 2024, well done to all...

Came across this lovely pub after searching the internet when I was nearby. I was looking for somewhere to eat and this place had good reviews. What a find! I arrived around late lunchtime and it was packed out (always a good sign). Once inside, I asked the girl behind the bar if she had a table for one free to which she replied something like not at the moment. As I really wanted to have a meal of some kind, I asked how long the waiting time was. She then said that some people had just paid their bill and that I could have their table when they left which didn't take long. I sat down with a drink and a menu was brought to me within a short space of time. Lots to choose from including starters, mains and puds I chose the chicken, ham and leek pie, changed the chips for mash and my meal arrived pretty quickly. It was absolutely delicious! The little jug of thick unctuous gravy was just to die for too. The atmosphere was very friendly and the girls behind the bar were lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend for a very good good time meal. I will definitely...

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Bell and Bear in Rowley Regis! The Sunday dinner was nothing short of spectacular—generous portions of perfectly cooked meats (I had the trio of meats ) and a fantastic selection of fresh vegetables. The roast potatoes were the real star of the show—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and bursting with flavour, especially the more roast potatoes we ordered on the side. The service was impeccable; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home, even accommodating our last-minute visit with a warm smile. The building itself is a gem, a 400-year-old former farmhouse brimming with rustic charm and character, from the exposed beams to the cozy log fire that added such a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend this pub for a proper Sunday roast in a setting that feels like a step back in time

Went here today without a booking but the staff were very helpful and seated us straight away. Drinks orders were taken immediately. Food order was taken as soon as the drinks were bought to the table. Lovely menu with lots of homemade, traditional food choices. There was also a specials board. We ordered cobs and a child's burger with sides of chips and onion rings. Portion sizes were great and the cheese on my cob was about an inch thick!! Great value for money. The pie looked amazing (will definitely be having that next time) Really cosy atmosphere with the fire on. Excellent service and I've already booked to go back on Thursday!
