McDonald's — Restaurant in Sandwell

Went into the store to get a few meals for the family and whilst waiting for my food, stood in the area waiting. When I was there I waited over 10mins for the meals, which was after waiting about 5mins for someone to come to the till to take my order, there were people being rude to other staff members for being slow but took an age themselves to do anything, having a chat constantly in the back laughing out loud, quite literally and swearing in the back in different languages, like customers can’t understand what they’re saying. When the food was finally ready, a woman called “Puspa” came to hand the bag over all scrunched up. I say hand over, she dropped it on the table for me to pickup and walked off, didn’t ask if I wanted anything just walked off from me. I thought McDonald’s would be promoting service with a smile?

I went off on my way but had to go back into the store because when I got back to the car, I noticed a whole meal was missing from the bag. Turns out she forgot to hand me the other bag that had the final meal in so she chucked that down for me, all the other food I’d already got was now cold in the car. I didn’t bother going back in again with the joke of a service after my experience here, just went up the road to the KFC to get a warm set of meals, didn’t have all the hassle there for some reason. Daughter wanted a Maccies for her birthday but just had to make do with KFC for the day.

No chance that I head to this place ever again, much rather go to a half decent Maccies a little further away. And I’d give the same advice to anyone else in the area, just head over to West Brom or Oldbury and go to one of the decent Maccies over there if you want any good food, it’ll save you a load of hassle...

i visited mcdonalds toady i spent almost over £20.00 pound, i picked up at the drive through an a sain lady named MOHIT gave me the food however i explained to her that I did not order 2 coka cola's she went on to tell me its not her problem its whats on my order, i let MOHIT know im the customer and im always right. MOHIT then explained that their was no fanta i asked why was I not given a choice. She became defensive i got annoyed and asked for a manager. when the manager arrived he understood that I should have been offered an alternative however the Fanta is now working ( how convenient) . manager replaced my medium coka cola with a large Fanta which solved the situation. before driving away i checked my food and noticed I had no sauces I then asked MOHIT for sauce MOHIT then forcefully gave me the sauces when I confronted her about being force full she again became defensive. MOHIT does not have any customer services and her attitude stinks along with her facial expressions. I made MOHIT aware that there is no need for her to use force because if i get out of my car and use force on her she would not like it, I made MOHIT aware that my voice and opinions alone would make her cry at work. I'm giving cape hill McDonalds NO STARS at all ( HAD TO GIVE 1 JUST TO POST), wont bother returning either what a joke all staff plus management need to go on a course to teach them customer services/hospitality. I visit this McDonald's in Cape Hill a couple times a week but the last time I went was beyond a joke. There were 2 white female cleaners with short hair, that after cleaning the toilets, went directly into the kitchen area to handle and serve food without washing their hands or changing gloves. This is such a serious hygiene issue, they were touching food after cleaning dirty areas, potentially even faeces. I would be livid if I found out there was something from the toilet on my food or anywhere near my food. I don’t even understand why someone who cleans the toilet is dealing with things in the kitchen or with food at all.

I expected better standards at a McDonald’s, especially when it comes to food safety but I know McDonald’s are franchised a lot of the time nowadays. So, the standard drops when it isn’t directly owned by McDonald’s or whatever. I imagine the owner of this place isn’t the greatest if this is what they allow to go on. Maybe McDonald’s should have a check for themselves what goes on at this place in general.

Safe to say I won’t be back there ever again. Probably have to walk a little further up to the KFC now whilst on my break. I can’t see myself going to another McDonald’s at all, not for a long while at least. Not after seeing something...
