McDonald's — Restaurant in Sandwell

Ordered 8 meals from Hollyhead road McDonald’s through the app for delivery at 19:20 as it was my nieces birthday and this was her choice. Only drinks delivered by Uber at 19:50 driver stated to contact the store. Called the store for 10 minutes continuously no answer so drive to the store 20:10 on arrival store is empty plenty of staff onsite The shift manager Anna knew straight away why I was there with my receipt in my hand and refused to give me the order even though she was aware the food was NOT sent out??!!! Anna said I had to contact head office the following morning to request a refund??!! Basically left with no food and £53 down in my bank account and a niece in tears and 8 people to feed. This is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this store has got an order wrong on delivery and I have been out of pocket but it’s the first time the whole food order has been missing!! Never again will I or my family order from this store or any other McDonald’s We ended up with KFC costing a further £49 and I will be contacting head office with a formal complaint and if no joy the ombudsman! McDonald’s Customer service is disgraceful for a massive company with years of experience and I would say previously had a great customer service ethic, it’s disappointing to experience that the customers DONT MATTER…....

The Hawthorns McDonald's offered a surprisingly peaceful start to the day. My friend and I decided on a spontaneous breakfast and coffee run, and we found ourselves greeted with a refreshingly calm atmosphere. Ordered a big tasty with bacon meal, the bacon that was on the burger was back bacon used for breakfasts that should of been cooked it was cold right from the fridge. Took this in and spoke to management was met with an aggressive thin lad with braces who told me they normally wait for it to get to room temperature before putting it on burgers.

Clearly unsafe practices from this McDonald’s food should be below 5 or above 60 degrees anything in between this will grow bacteria and make people sick.

As I tried to explain this his comment was this is how it’s done if you don’t believe me I can get someone else to tell you the same.

First thing Tuesday morning I will be calling McDonald’s customer care and Birmingham council environmental health.
