The Sandwich House — Restaurant in Sandwell

Firstly I'm not a lying person as the facts will speak for them self's! I paid £18 for 4 jacket potato's and I have to say they were awful! Considering how much we paid the portions did not match the price. I'd seen another customer that had ordered a jacket and their portion was a lot more than mine so whys this for, why the difference in service? I was charged for a different filling it could have all been included in the original price :(

I understand due to Covid everyone is experiencing a rough patch however I could have got a £3 meal deal from Sainsburys.

I have been to other vendors in retail parks, there's more give in their portions than this, in one portion another vendor give one and then a bit more this is reflective constructive criticism so I hope this is taken into consideration. I appreciate that this is food and I am grateful however for what i have paid I am actually not happy, I'd travelled from Smethwick :(.

I ordered cheese beans and tuna. I literally got about 20 beans on it if that! There was no sauce on it. No salt or pepper to a satisfactory  amount! Normally when you get a jacket potato you expect that there be so much bean's that the sauce is seeping out the box but not in this case. I had to look for the beans and found 20 beans. No I didn't count them but its a figure of speech !

The main thing was the tuna special  they had which they threw on top. Like who does that  the tuna goes under the beans and you delve right in!

The other meals were the same. Not happy at all won't be coming here ever again. Especially when this was my dinner with my full family.

Have to give this one star for the sake of it but it don't even...

This wouldn’t work even be a 1 star if I could put My review up. Order from here on a regular basis and they don’t always get the order correct but I never say anything. Today I rang in advance to make a order as usual, today was a small order of 2 sandwiches compared to the regular 10 plus sandwiches, got a time from them for when the order would be ready as I use my break time of work to collect it, turned up 5 mins later then when I was told to collect and asked if my order was ready to be told no it’s not been made, asked how long it would take, was getting passed from one person to another saying don’t know in a abrupt manner because they was busy, so told them to just cancel the order and left. Other members of public and people from my work place then tell me the staff made comments about me saying I have a attitude problem because I didn’t want to wait and I cancelled the order they hadn’t even started making. I am also busy and took time out to make the order and collect accordingly to there times, how rude to then had inappropriate comments made. Definitely won’t be going back there and will get work colleges and family to use Marie’s cafe instead...

The sandwiches are absolutely lovely from here, but hygiene is crazy. They are serving customers, handling money and then making your sandwich with no gloves and touch everything with their bare hands. The customer in front of me I heard him on about he has a virus and been ill throwing up, he payed with cash. Then I got served with no gloves on. I have weak immune system due to an autoimmune disease, so I spent 15 pounds and ended up throwing it away because scared to eat it. I also saw quite a lot of elderly customers in the shop. These people are vulnerable. At least use gloves to protect your vulnerable customers. Sandwich gloves only cost about 2 to 3p each when brought in bulk. It's just nice to see good hygiene, especially when it comes to sandwiches. It's a shame because everything else they do is amazing, just need to start using gloves out of respect for their customers who have...
