Can't fault the food as its delicious, the reason it's so low is because of the rude staff member working there on Sunday. We were here at a not so busy time and one of us was accidentally was in the waitress way. I pulled her to the side but the waitress decided to say very loudly as if she almost wanted us to hear "Aye just go ahead and block me whilst I've got hot tea here" I work in hospitality and I get it, things happen and sometimes things can annoy you, but that was just completely shocking, petty and ruined our time there. Not only that she proceeded to give us daggers until she finished her shift ten minutes later. Whereas all the other staff members were lovely. To the other girl, sort it out, it's...

A fantastic place to eat in Kirkintilloch offering traditional Scottish mixed with continental quisine. My wife had a roll 'n' sausage & potato scone from the breakfast menu which is served until 3pm (they must know what time she gets up at😁) while I went for the Crayfish and avocado in lemon and chive mayonnaise on brown bloomer sandwich with sides of delicious cabbage coleslaw, tortilla chips and lamb's leaf, cucumber and tomato salad. I've had a similar meal in a very nice Parisian bistro but it couldn't hold a candle to the meal I had in Alessio's. The service from the very attentive and friendly staff made it a pleasure to eat here. We will definitely be back and can't...

Took too long to serve my order.

I went to the shop for the first time thinking that they would provide good customer service. I had no idea that they would take too long to serve my order. My order was lying on the staff’s table without it being handed over to me. The staff in the shop were prioritising other customers who came after me who had ordered multiple items and warm food. In the end, the food I ordered got cold.

Their customer service is very poor compared to the service provided by the other shops in the area! What irritated me the most is the fact that they didn’t bother apologising for their very poor customer service. This is why I have given...

The "Big Breakfast" on the Menu, isnt that big at all. Rather stingy in fact. I consumed it in minutes. I compare to Coias cafe, Duke Street, or Tibos, Euro Trans Cafe in TronGate Glasgow. All of them gave a real "Big breakfast". Everything else was great, the venue was bright and spaceous, the friendly service, how the food was cooked and even the plates were quality. Bigger helpings please. NOTE: French bread was approx £6.99 for 5 half slices of thick bread. Extremely Poor Value

This place is amazing. The sandwiches are jaw crackers - stuffed full with fillings which are delicious. Attention to detail about the quality of everything is clearly on the agenda here at Alessio's. Flavours are gutsy and pack a punch. Superb value. Service excellent. Amazing place if you like punchy flavours, your sandwiches packed full to bursting and quality of ingredients top notch. I'd come back to Kirkintilloch simply to visit here. Bravo.

This was a special treat from my sister. We came here for breakfast and what a helping you get. It is a nice cosy wee cafe and it was fairly busy for a Monday morning. I couldn't resist the full breakfast and a cup of tea. I was very full afterwards. It crossed my mind that some of the other people came here regularly as they knew the staff by name. If I lived locally I probably would come regularly also as it is extremely good value for money.
