🍺🍸 What a night we have just had!🥩🥘 Just home after been wined & dined at Blake's Bar & Kitchen - Stornoway . This was our first time there, after winning their recent competition. My goodness what a dining experience! From the moment you enter the door your every need is met! The setting is warm, relaxed, comfortable and very welcoming. The girls that greet you are well presented and very friendly. Sarah took us to our table and explained the menu and made us feel 'at home' our drinks order was taken and as we had already seen the menu on FB we knew exactly what we wanted for starters & mains, so Sarah took that order too. The service was fast! Drinks on the table followed shortly afterwards were our delicious starers. The right amount of checking that everything was OK with us and did we need anything else was spot on from Sarah. Table cleared of empty plates and then the amazing mains came. Everything was served on time, perfectly cooked and the presentation was eye appealing, the amazing mix of ingredients tantalising our taste buds. Saffarah came to clear our dishes and offered dessert (well that's what we came for!🤣) like Sarah she was friendly and helpful. Dessert didn't disappoint! Delivered to the table quickly and looked as amazing as they tasted! Before we got our mains the place started filling up fast, most tables were taken but these girls (as well as the chef) still worked quickly and smartly and no one was left hanging for food. Came here last night for dinner, we booked last minute for a table. We were greeted by very friendly staff and our waitress was kind, polite and bubbly for the whole night which we loved. We had the bbq ribs and duck spring rolls for starters, absolutely amazing! We had the surf & turf and the duck breast, food portions were perfect and the food tasted amazing as well, super impressed! And the desserts were so delicious. Creds to the chef!! Top chef!! Lovely quiet Sunday dinner at Blake's. I decided on fried crispy halloumi with a chilli jam - nicely presented and nicely seasoned. Followed with a pan fried duck breast - I like mine past pink and made my request; the chef manged that request well and a nicely seasoned breast of duck, veg with A nice bite and classic fondant potato tasty!! - superb!
