The Blue Lobster — Restaurant in Scotland

Living in Yorkshire, I really wanted some fresh cakes for a family member that lives on the island. The staff at The Blue Lobster replied to my query so fast, and despite not usually doing deliveries (as far as I am aware), agreed to do a drop off and presented the cakes so beautifully. The reviews from our family members are RAVING and we can't wait to try them ourselves when we are up visiting - it's just a shame we are so far away.

Well after reading all these fantastic reviews we were looking forward to experiencing all the cafe had to offer. When we turned up they were busy which is always a good sign. I asked if they would keep us a table. Yes for 2pm? Is it the round table for 4 people you want? Well there are five of us? We left to wait outside in the rain to decide what we would do for next 25mins and the assistant came out and said we can't serve 5 sorry. Bye. Unbelievable!! Oh and one of us was on crutches... not...

Hi again. My original review was nearly a year ago..although there are no loos on the premises..havimg read your reply. I do understand,yes theres lack of space. However..it is a lovely airy place with lovely views. And yes u do all work hard,producing beautiful tasty cakes and wonderful coffees. Lovely plesant staff..its just a sgame that most of the time i cant get a seat because yr so busy! Keep up the...
