Went down to bk today 27/5/2024 at 19.05. Wanted a burger for my daughter. Very simple order, xl double cheese burger with extra pickles. Went to self service and started ordering, everything was fine but no extra pickle option, so I decided to cancel the order at the self service and order from the counter, which I have managed to do at all Burger Kings on the planet for the last 40 years. I approached the counter and the assistant ( I didn't catch his name so I will refer to him as " Bellend" for the purpose of this review. I would imagine he was of a senior position as he had a headset and microphone on his head).
Anyway I approached the counter and Bellend asks me how he can help. I started to order and Bellend cut me off after a few words and told to go to self service. I tried to explain calmly that the option for extra pickle is not on self service but again after 2 words Bellend cut me off and told me that I was not allowed to order from the counter and to go to self service. I refused so Bellend told me he would come and help me at self service screen. As I turned to head over to the self service screen Bellend shook his head and told a junior member to come help me, I believe Bellends words were " go and help that f+++king guy because he doesn't understand how the screen works". The young assistant helped, I showed him there was no option for the extra pickles so he processed the order and gave me extra pickles. The burger was fine as was the rest of the meal however the experience was ruined by Bellend and his lazy and ridiculous attitude. Poor show burger king. Probably you should either consider getting rid of Bellend or at least keep him flipping burgers at the back and as far away from members of the public as possible.
Again, the food was great, the young guys help was perfect and on point, but Bellends attitude upset and angered me to the point that I almost went back inside to punch his greasy fat head off.
Apologies for my rant but it's not how I expect to be treated by a senior member of staff in such a well established fast food restaurant.

Below was my last review, and let's just say it wasn't good, especially as it was newly opened. However, we popped in for a meal last week, and I have to say it has vastly improved. We opted to sit in, we ordered our food via the computer screens and within a short time we collected it. The food quality was good, the burgers (whoppers) tasted great, the bun was fresh, and the salads were crispy. The fries again were nicely cooked and, most importantly, all were hot. The servers were polite, prompt, and well presented. Cleaning up any mess left by customers straight away. Well done, the managers and team for turning this place around. The toilets were clean and tidy. Old review-We purchased our food from the drive-through. All the food that we ordered was correct. However, the chips were cold, a bit limp, and tasteless. My burger was a bit on the bland side, the tomato was under ripe, the gherkin didn't have that tangy pickle taste you would have expected, and the onion was too long and stringy The Chicken Royale burger tasted ok, but unfortunately, again, bland, the lattes could have been warmer. The servers were polite. There are parking spaces around the building, but these are a bit tight, especially with larger vehicles. Read moreI've given this a few chances now. Each time consistently poor quality food and service. Last time I received a burger with bacon that was obviously well past throwing out, it's appearance was similar to that of fish scales with a metallic look to it...never seen anything like it. We paid almost £20 for sub standard poor portions. Great to see their focus has been on gender 'neutral' bathrooms, shame this has come at the cost of its cleanliness and service. That really aggravated me they were in a shocking state. I've yet to have the drive thru experience, each time I've gone it's been dead quiet each time I've had to pull up and wait around for someone to appear with the order. Each time sauces have been incorrect or not there at all.... why bother asking. Staff could do with smartening up a lot and maybe a class or two in providing a great customer experience wouldn't go amiss. They genuinely seem uninterested and uncaring.
