Went in today and got a lovely friendly greeting off the two ladies. Seated next to a radiator (much appreciated). Lady took our order whilst my husband went to the cash machine (cash only). Drinks arrived promptly and the food wasn't far behind. Breakfast was lovely and hot (never had Lanarkshire slice before and it was lovely),loved that it came with a tattie scone. All decked out for Christmas too, loved the gingerbread men soap dispensers and the Christmas toilet roll in the ladies 😂,lovely added touches that makes a difference. If we are ever that way again in Scotland we will go back

Cozy little place, with friendly staff. I had a coffee and bacon roll, both of which were excellent and reasonably priced. It seems to be a real community hub.

Nice little place managed to grab a bite to eat and stay out the rain while waiting on my train. Staff were very friendly and food was good

Hi have been in before and been pleased to recommend however yesterday ordered two paninis tuna apparently not good the other cheese and onion great chunks of raw onion not much cheese fillings aside the bread on both was hard and stale side salad was OK my companion left most of hers took two cakes home I enjoyed mine my husband said it was OK but would be better with decent jam !!! Would revisit as service and seating very good as said have been pleased on previous visits maybe a different chef ???? Maybe a cost cutting exercise in which case I would recommend going back to what they were doing as usually very good and the lady in seemingly charge works hard to...

Lovely bright, spotlessly clean cafe convenient for all bus and train users with no parking problems. Prompt friendly service. Bowl of excellent hot homemade lentil soup with nice crusty buttered bread thrown in. Followed by breakfast of very well cooked fried egg, locally sourced tasty bacon, Delicious local square sausage , and a very nice tottie scone. Rounded off with superb white coffee and bic, and warm buttered toast. Very reasonably priced bearing in mind the top quality of all the food provided. To be highly...
