We were driving from Edinburgh to Glasgow and stopped for lunch in Falkirk. The Fork & Mustard was a spot I wanted to try. It is a really cute little cafe. When we came up, Stu, the delivery driver told us that there wasn’t any room inside, and so we sat outside. Stu was great, he suggested that I try the “Scottish Nacho’s”. Chloe, the server came out to greet us. She was a gem. My wife asked if they had any wine. Chloe laughed, and said “If we had any wine, we’d be drinking it ourselves, there’d be none left for you.” I told her that I though that Haggis was the best kept secret, she said no, it was square sausage. We said we would try that along with Toastie and Chicken sandwich. The square sausage was great, but the Scottish Nachos were one of the best things I’ve every had. I can’t recommend this place enough if you in the area.

I have been going back a few times and in meantime also brought my brother and niece who came to visit me from Belgium 😁 They managed to taste local Scottish breakfast as soon as they arrived. They also loved it!!! 🥰 I love everything about Fork and Mustard, from the service, to the foods and it’s super cosy! Staff is always super friendly, sweet and helpful :) Now, that I’ve moved to Scotland I’ll keep going to Fork and Mustard, sometimes I went on my own with a book and enjoyed my breakfast. Also, they have one of the best Chai lattes, I ever had here. So, whenever I get the chance, I’d bring my friends and family there making sure they get the taste of local Scottish foods :) So far so I had their: Flying Scotsman, their large breakfast, also had their veggie breakfasts, and their tattie scones, etc I loved all… 🤪 can’t wait to go back!

What a lovely café. Food excellent (loved the leek and potato soup!), helpings generous and prices v reasonable. Staff friendly. Well worth dropping in for your breakfast/morning cuppa, lunch or an afternoon tea. Next time..... attack the cupcakes methinks. 8 October Back in Falkirk again, so needs must, in to the Fork and Mustard to sample the cakes. Excellent! No more need be said. If you are passing, try it. HOWEVER, last time, it had not clicked that they are so dog friendly. Now, when I return, our doglet can come in as well (as long as I am well behaved I gather) Nice to see dogs coming in to places like this. Adds to the ambience (in my humble opinion)

Really good breakfast in probably the most welcoming and happy cafe I've ever been in. The food was excellent, there are few full breakfasts that come with absolutely everything including two tattie scones and fruit pudding (not had that for years, top marks for that alone). This breakfast was huge, big enough to satisfy the largest of appetites (mine) and very competitively priced. I have had slightly better quality sausage and bacon, but not for this price, you want fancy farm bacon you'll pay £2/3 more for a breakfast than this and you won't be as happy! I was going to suggest bigger tea pots, but I'm not sure they charged me for my second pot of tea, which is either an oversight or exceptionally good service. Fork & Mustard is thoroughly...
