Excellent authentic Italian baking. Love their bread. Highly recommend their panettone ahead of Christmas - it's excellent t but order ahead. Whenever I'm near George Street I go in here. My only constructive comment would be opening hours... its not open as much as I'd like (hence the 3 stars for service - the actual service in practice is very good). Recommend the breads, foccacia sandwiches, coffee, Christmas panettone, sweet treats. They have a few small tables inside to seat just a few and then the same outside in good weather, but id say takeaway is my main aim here. What can I say? This is simply the most outstanding baker and I would now be lost without them! I have been buying their bread many times a week for over 5 years, and it is simply the best there is. Sourdough, 5 Seed, Spelt, Kamut, and so many more are what all bread should taste like. Additionally the chocolate croissants are possibly the best I have ever had. Not good!!!! Small loaf and 4 rolls weighed and cost a TON. Tasteless and tough. Birds had a very costly feast. I went to the shop in Whitefriars, cant remember which date but it was my third visit. First two shop was closed but I fear the goods were left over from that period. Bought small white loaf and 4 white rolls. Certainly not fresh. Had to get another the next day elsewhere.
