Blend Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Scotland

tried twice when I visit as my mum seems to love it. But the coffee I think is bad. More specifically the extraction. I drink black Americano and I have had under extracted coffee that's sour twice. No crema at all. I'm no barista, but I do love coffee. And coffee at starbucks for example is an empty experience. But it's neither sour or bitter. So it's better.

As for scenery/setting. Really nice. Well done to you. I think it's the best place in Perth for an indoor drinking atmosphere. I wish that places like this will/could afford to have exactly this on the highstreet, take the fight straight to the chains. I'll certainly come again, but not for coffee. So definitely not all bad.

I have moved this from 3 stars to 5 stars. After the staff replying and offering me to speak to them and get the right coffee. I can't fault their customer service. Nor the coffee that I will get. As I'm sure I will get one.(I do know they use good beans anyway) As above the rest is faultless. So a well...

Was unsure whether to give 3 or 4 stars. The furniture is a bit tired but still comfy and adds to the overall look of the venue. Very casual where you can relax and enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful. I drink tea which was fine but I love homebakes and this is the reason for my perhaps low stars. It was later in the afternoon we went so our choices were already limited, I chose a muffin but I actually ate less than half but my husband persevered with it. Found it very dry and quite unpleasant to eat. However it is down to personal taste, I do a lot of baking so have high expectations in cakes etc and this was a disappointment. Update Oct 2019: explained 'organisational culture' to my 10yo then asked where in Perth he thought had a good culture. He said Blend which was my thought too.

2017: One of my and many people's favourite cafés in Perth for the lovely staff, cosy decor and relaxed atmosphere. Really appreciate that the back is music free for the times that you want that. All sorts and all ages come here which adds to the appeal. The kind of place you'll find local adverts when so many chains don't accept these now.
