The Bulldog Frog — Restaurant in Scotland

Reposting review after attempting to sort out with restaurant. (Ordered on Nov 2nd).

Really disappointed with this. Previously the food had been amazing however not this time.

Burger came burnt and inedible.

Chips were half reheated and half fresh but solely tasted like grease.

chicken tenders looked abysmal and were inedible.

Messaged the Facebook page trying to sort it out and was asked to go into the cafe and receive a free meal and remove my review.

Went into the cafe and was turned away because lunches start at 12 despite signs clearly stating the started at 11.

Was then asked for my number (which I provided) days ago and had no contact since.

Also tried calling multiple times on the numbers provided on their Facebook and Google pages however couldn't get through. Their website just routes you to a photographer webpage.

Horrible food and horrible customer service that has ruined (in my mind) the reputation of what was the best cafe in Perth.

Cappuccino was cold, was changed without a fuss, replacement was hot but hardly any coffee taste. Had to ask for tea spoon. Was waiting ages to order, and probably 20-mins or so.

I've been here 4 or 5 times. This has definitely put me off returning, ordered the cheese and bacon burger and mac n cheese with bacon. 4 tiny squares of bacon on a ramekin of mac n cheese, tiny portion and not much cheesy taste and secondly the bacon was minimal. Burger was cooked just enough to eat but had watery white leakage when biting in, like a defrosted burger had been cooked only just enough. Almost sent it back.

I used to love this place, it's never been cheapest but quality always made it worth the spend, but quality has gone, bad experience, not be back and I feel bad saying it but...

Today, once again, we visited this restaurant with our family, and as always – it was a perfect choice for a Sunday lunch! I ordered a burger – huge, juicy, and incredibly flavorful. At first glance, I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it, but it was so delicious that I ate every last bite! My daughter had a tuna and corn baguette – a simple classic, yet it tasted like a little culinary masterpiece. The service? Absolutely wonderful – friendly, helpful, and always smiling – it truly makes you want to come back! What’s more, our dog was treated to a bowl of fresh water and a little snack, which completely stole our hearts. If you're looking for a place with outstanding burgers, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere, you definitely have to check...
