Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Coffee as always was lovely but I thought the lady making drinks forgot who the customer was and was very rude, when declaring to the shop I was standing on the edge of the circle and not directly in it due to new covid protocol. Only me and one other in the shop. Absolutely mortified when we were all masked and 2m apart. If I wasn't in need of my coffee fix I would have walked out. Shop looks nice and was clean.

Definitely a covid Marshall in the making should a vacancy...

Called in for a coffee with 2 relatives. Only 1 table was occupied, the rest were empty but the tables were stacked with dirty dishes waiting to be cleared. I had to clear our table for my elderly mother to sit down. No staff offered to sanitise our table. Our drinks were good, usual Costa standard. Just a shame it took nearly half an hour for staff to clear the dirty tables, instead of chatting to each other with an empty shop. Staff however, were pleasant...

Came in for a coffee and whilst the dishwasher was broken got offered a takeaway cup which did not mind at all. Was charged a sit in price. Finding a table for difficult as every table had mess left behind. Place was quiet and the staff stood behind the counter laughing away in their phones. Not tidying up to ensure clean tables were available. Dissapointing and unprofessional. Staff need to be managed better to ensure the shop is clean and...
