Eliza did a great job of helping me to arrange ~30 people coming from all over the country for a business event over an evening meal in the attic. The attic was a fabulous location for this with the private bar area meaning we had everything we needed in one space for pre-meal and post-meal conversations.

We had drinks on arrival, agility over starting time, flawless delivery of pre-ordered food to the right individual (no "I have forgotten what I ordered" because it was perfectly organised), and the quality of the food was incredible.

My peers/colleagues/friends from across the UK were very complementary about the experience and loved the venue. I would not hesitate to recommend Cottiers to anyone looking for a private/personal/informal/memorable event.

A huge credit to Eliza, Mia, and all the team behind the scenes in the kitchen for a great welcome, incredible food, amazing service, and for creating a desire for me to go back very soon.

We were a disparate group from all over the country with numbers moving, order choices changing, uncertainty everywhere, along with a "how are we going to settle this on the night?" type anxiety. I needn't have worried as the team were incredible to work with and it meant that when I arrived on the night, I could just enjoy the evening safe in the knowledge that I was in safe hands.

Thank you...

We had our wedding at Cottiers. Incredible venue..

Erin and Eve did a wonderful job planning our special day. Communication throughout the planning process was great and on the day they guided us through everything and took care of all the details.

Catering was also provided through Cottiers. We had canapes, a three course meal, and a late night snack according to our guests' dietary requirements - all of which were delicious. Many of our guests commented on how good the food was.

Service of the meal was excellent. Staff were present yet out of sight. Drinks were always topped up and service of the food was timely. Set-up and tear down of all decor was done perfectly.

Part of the reason we chose Cottiers was for the bells. NOTE, you cannot hear the bells from inside the venue you have to be standing outside to hear them. The venue played the bells when our guests were outside for the confetti toss but we hadn't gone outside yet so we missed them. Cottiers then took extra steps to get the bells rang again so that we could hear them, which we appreciated greatly.

Lastly the atmosphere was breath-taking. The main hall is beautiful and provided a stunning backdrop for our ceremony, dinner, and evening ceilidh/dancing.

Thank you Cottiers!

Our wedding at Cottiers was just, put simply, a DREAM.

I fell in love with this venue long before I was even engaged! I just knew it was where we would be having our wedding reception; thankfully, my now husband, agreed!

We were blown away when we visited the venue initially. Once all of our decor etc had come together on the day (thanks to our wonderful suppliers and Team Cottiers) we walked into the hall for 'first looks': we were absolutely besotted.

Not only is this venue visually stunning and provides the most perfect atmosphere for a wedding, the food was TO DIE FOR. 'Best food I've had at a wedding' is what we've heard on repeat for the last seven weeks now!

Lastly, but by no means least - Eve and Erin, our coordinators, were nothing short of phenomenal. They had the patience of saints when it came to my constant stream of questions and emails -for the best part of a year. The girls kept me calm throughout and nothing was too much for them. What a credit they are to this establishment! Both girls are responsible for what we knew would be the most amazingly beautiful day

Have you been to a celidh in Scotland before? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 As much as we love travelling and visiting somewhere sunny at this time of year, there is honesty no better feeling than bringing in the bells with our nearest and dearest and celidh dancing until our feet hurt 🥰 We had a delicious three course dinner followed by lots of dancing at @cottiersglasgow and woke up in our little home on wheels feeling so full of love and gratitude for the people around us ❤️ Although we’re excited to get stuck into 2024, I’m sad to see the festivities come to an end this year. #hogmanay #newyearparty #celidh
