Eatalia Kitchen — Restaurant in Scotland

A proper Chippy-Cafe combo which also does everything from Lasagne to Egg & Chips to amazing little dessert bites & lovely ice cream. This is where I will always eat anytime I'm in the area.

UPDATE: 8th Aug 2025 - Been eating here everytime I'm in the Rutherglen area and it has NEVER been anything less than brilliant. Today I went back to my menu favourite, Double Egg, Chips & Beans and it was brilliant. That one gets 'chippy chips' with one's menu items rather than the frozen &/or reheated nonsense one is served almost everywhere else, shows the owner cares about his customers, the type of owner that is, sadly, a dying breed. His Burgers are made freshly every day and the Fish he serves is bought daily too, again, better than the frozen &/or reheated guff I mentioned earlier, fgs the Eggs are always Free Range, by default. And I haven't even mentioned the homemade Italian Ice Cream and homemade desserts too. As you can clearly see, I can't recommend it...

Ordered through just eat £30 worth of food. recieved my order pizza was cold sausage was just warm and fish was missing!! My friend called to inform parts of order was missing and food was cold staff told her they would check cctv?????????? Called back to basically say we are lying!! Cctv showed 2 pieces of fish?? Absolutely shocking customer service!!!! When my friend added that the sausage was also cold was basically told " so your adding things on"??? No....... she got her dinner last as was phoning to inform them about the other food. So was then told well that might be the reason why it was cold!!! Shocking!!! No resolution other than we will give you something free next time when told we will not be ordering again said we can send you the missing fish!!?? No thanks everyone has now eaten could we be refunded for the missing fish?? No we don't do that we can send u something free the next time or we can send u the missing...

Tbh wasting my time leaving a review this company is a joke. I called to place an order which is 5 mins drive or less and the staff told me thats fine it would be £2.50 so i called back with my order and the manager of all people refused my service telling me it was too far a drive for “her” delivery team. The cheek she gave me was terrible customer service and when i checked just eat my post code was valid so i called back just to ask why it was listed and why i was refused she again gave me a load of cheek and point blank told me this is my shop and my staff if we dont wish to deliver to you we wont and thats end of discusssion and then hung up on me. I am disgusted by the way she treated me over the phone and wont be using their service again, not that i have the choice as they wont deliver to me 5 minutes...
