Buon Appetito — Restaurant in Scotland

My partner and I have visited this place countless times, and it has always been great food and service in the past - most of the waitresses and Liz are very welcoming. However this past few times there has been this waitress called Carol, who has been very friendly and smiley to people at the other tables. But when she came to us she had this angry, impatient voice and look, and she'd just slam our plates down then walk away.

The first time we put it down to her having a bad day but it has happened twice more now and this time it has put us off the place for good. The food is always great here but when the service is this disappointing it ruins the whole experience. There are plenty of other local cafes that have better customer service. Do better...

My 86 year old mother again made us go out of our way, driven across the city, to go to Buon Appetito for lunch, because the staff are "always so nice" to her. Liz and her colleagues always welcome us with cheery words and good food, though she only popped in today. We were looked after today by Carol and Chloe. The restaurant has had a makeover which also is good to see. Thank you again Buon Appetito for looking after my Mum so well.

I've been coming to this wee cafe since I was a baby with my mum and dad. Now I come along with my own babies over the years anytime I am in the arcade. Always the place to go with my family and friends. The staff make the place what it is, the food is brilliant always. The atmosphere is always great. Love their tea, coffee and cakes too.
