Visited yesterday and service was shocking put into booth seat with no space at all to move so asked to move to bigger table the girl wasn’t happy ..Asked if they had gluten free cakes and she pointed to cake on top shelf and said I think that’s gluten free .I said if it’s not you will have to phone for ambulance it is important for my friend that’s why I asked .Staff leaning over till point chatting most of time we were in never asked if everything was okay we went in at 3.10 and again obvious they shut at 4 as said at start coffee and cake only not very customer friendly Had the same atmosphere years ago thought it would be better as hadn’t been in since them but obviously not embarrassing as friend had visited from St Andrews .Poor show doesn’t encourage people to go in and...

Great family run local cafe in Carnoustie. I’ve stopped in a couple of times with the dog and they’ve been incredibly friendly. I asked for an extra sausage for the dog and they gave it free of charge. They also typically come out and give him a big fuss which he absolutely loves.

They run a Facebook competition each week where you can like/share etc to be in with a chance of winning a pizza on Friday. Never tried the pizza but have heard good things.

During the day there’s a good food menu with plenty of selection and it’s very tasty.

There’s a little bit of outdoor seating for through the summer, but it’s only a couple of tables so don’t rely on it - you’ll struggle if it’s busy and a nice day to get sat outside.

Did not know that you had to wait to be given a table as this was my first time here after being recommended by a friend. I was allocated a table but was told that the table was reserved and we would only have 40 mins. So to that we decided to just have a coffee as it would be too rushed to eat. The time I was there I noticed only two tables leaving after finishing their food.People were just being served at other tables and more people arrived and the two other tables were given to them. There was only two front of house staff that I could see and they appear to be rushed. I will definitely go back for a meal next time I'm in...
