I recently had the pleasure of dining at Deli Gasta Bistro, and it was a culinary experience to remember. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Rhona, our server, was remarkably attentive and knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed and valued. Her recommendations were spot on, enhancing our dining experience significantly. In the kitchen, chef Sorcha showcased her incredible talent with every dish that came out. The baked sweet potato was cooked to perfection, and the carrot cake and brownies were a delight, especially impressive as they are safe for those with gluten allergies. The balance of flavors and textures in each dish spoke volumes of Sorcha’s culinary prowess. Ben, the jack-of-all-trades at the bistro, was a joy to watch. His multitasking abilities, from running food to cooking and cleaning up after, all while maintaining a bright smile, added a special charm to the place. His energy and positivity were infectious. The food itself was exceptional. The oatmilk latte was a comforting start, creamy and just the right temperature. The Monarch toastie was a standout, offering warm buttery goodness with a hint of soft spice that made each bite moreish. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the beverages and the food with such precision. Deli Gasta Bistro is not just a place to eat; it’s an experience to savor. From the attentive service of Rhona, the culinary artistry of Sorcha, to Ben’s all-around contribution, every aspect of the bistro comes together to create an unforgettable dining experience. It’s a gem for anyone seeking a meal that delights in every aspect, especially for those with dietary considerations. P.s. the personalized wave goodbye was heart warming

Gasta in Broadford near Isle of Skye is a lovely Italian restaurant that pleasantly surprised us with its vegetarian-friendly menu. It’s not always easy to find good options in smaller towns, but Gasta delivered with a thoughtful selection. We tried their Neapolitan pizza, which was cooked to perfection with a light, airy crust and fresh toppings — truly delicious. The garlic focaccia complemented it well, soft yet flavorful, and perfect for sharing. For drinks, the hot chocolate was rich and comforting, while the flat white had a nice balance, smooth and well-prepared. To finish, the super gooey brownie was a highlight — indulgent, soft, and packed with chocolatey goodness. The overall experience felt warm and satisfying, with both quality food and a cozy atmosphere making it a great stop when exploring the Isle of Skye. Gasta is definitely worth a visit for Italian comfort food with a local touch.

Wanted to give 1 star but wife didnt have any of the issues i had. Needed some breaky, could have bought a co op sandwhich from the other side of the road but decided to treat ourselves in this nice looking place with some hot food. Wife ordered a cheese and onion toasty, i ordered a cream cheese and ham toasted sandwich and a hot choc. Was a little pricey but all was good, sat down in this execellently designed and furnished place. Didnt notice at first but the table we sat at was really sticky, made my sleeves stick to the table! Then it went fully downhill, another customer arrived and sat on the table next to us with his dog. All I could smell and taste at that point was wet dog and it triggered my allergies which ruined the experience for me. If it werent for this inconsiderate person the experience would have been so different. Food looked good tho!

I visited Saturday 08/04/23 with my 15 year old nephew and 7 year niece. We had the Jimmie toasted sandwich, the vegan sandwich both of which came w/ salad and coleslaw. My niece had toast. Generous portions, beautifully tasting, surrounding was lovely both indoors and outdoors, but my biggest review here was of the staff. Everyone was friendly and polite but in a genuine way, my star was the young chap who seated us, took our order and brought our food over before returning to his original post ( in the kitchen, I think) I didnt get his name but I believe he was helping out front as it was busy and I think I overheard a staff member say they had just one in the kitchen that day, they were busy but none of the staff changed their behaviour, they remained friendly and efficient and I particularly like how the two females supported the younger chap in this new role, their kindness did not go un- noticed, it allowed him to not get overwhelmed and he carried out his duties very well, especially as I had a few adaptions, IE my smoothie with single espresso, not double, drinks in takeaway cups for after food and so forth. This was my first time visiting as we are not local and had been returning home after staying at the Woodbine B&B (near the ferry, highly recommend their too) my sister in law and brother have visited Skye number of times and had suggested grabbing a bite to eat here, well it lived up to their opinions....

Aaaarrghhh.. I'm gutted that I didn't take any pictures of the interior of the restaurant or the pizza I ordered but this is a really great place to eat. We had a (very) wet day on Skye so we chose to visit Broadford then work our way up the West of the island via Talisker back to where we were staying (6 miles North of Staffin). The pizza I ordered was a chicken-based offering and it was very nice although I had to ask for extra chili - I got chili oil and chili flakes ....GROOVY. As a party of 5 we had varied pizzas and one salad and everything was well presented and great value for money. We all had Skye Ales with our meal except for one guy who had a soft drink (he was driving). I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good meal at a reasonable price with friendly service. As far as I can remember the cost of the meal (and drinks) was approx. £130 for 5 people and considering that we were all fulfilled that is a good price to pay. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Broadford. I would have loved to give names of our servers but if they're not offered it's a bit sketchy to ask what they are called. Good service, great food and a really nice place...
