Excellent service and great food! We had the soup of the day which was a carrot and potato base - we are American so a mushed/blended soup instead of a broth base was unusual for us but it was so delicious! I could go again and just eat the soup not to mention the home made bread which was served with the soup - so fresh and delicious.
As a meal I personally had the Mussels Catalana which were divine - mussels were steamed perfectly and the sauce was quit delicious. My husband had Slow roast Lamb in Rosemary, apricots and prunes which was also quit lovely! The lamb was roasted perfectly, soft on the inside and a bit crunchy on the outside. Read moreHarbour Restaurant, Main Street, in Broadford Scotland, was both a delight and a great treat. This welcoming restaurant was a great place to have dinner after touring the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The host was very hospitable. The dishes were delicious and their presentations were first-class.
We started with the soup of the day which was served with homemade bread. Our main courses were homemade lasagna served with chips, and a great fish dish arriving with potatoes and veggies. Our third choice was a tasty lamb dish. The lamb was accompanied by apricots, prunes, and veggies. We all enjoyed every single bite of our meals.
There was a good selection of wines and desserts. The atmosphere and ambiance were cozy, welcoming and charming. I would highly recommend you treat yourself and your friends to a great meal at Harbour...

Vegetables were unacceptably raw and tasteless. The side salad was not even rudimentary —it was primitive!.. And for this coming in such small portions, I was asked to pay almost 18 quid which was extortionate! My observation, though, is that this wasn’t the cook’s fault. This place needs a proper manager who prioritises taste and quality over profit and speed. I don’t...
