One word “disappointing.” Had to come here to see what the rave was all about but it was like having a chinese takeaway for double the price in a so called “expensive interior setting.” The only exception was that it looked expensive at a glance, but realistically wasn’t. We expected it to resemble a fancy hotel or casino, but instead it felt like I went back to my stressful work office. The lights were even brighter than my office and to top it off with the same chairs and white tables.

Not here to make friends with boss’s or owners, but hopefully they will appreciate my time taken to leave a review and other customers can get a heads up for when they do go. All I was looking for like all customers do was quality food, good service for a reasonable price.

I can assure you that the food wasn’t anything to write home about. There was an authentic menu and a “non authentic one.” We went for the non authentic one because if you cannot even get the non authentic one right then it’s time wasting trying the authentic one. Firstly, the food presentation wasn’t too bad itself although the plates were a bit unstylish for a high class fine dining restaurant. It was just a plain white dish similar to what you get from Poundland. Secondly the flavours were a bit funny, beef tasted a bit strange and satay sauce had no satay flavour. Thirdly, the atmosphere was a bit bizarre with the bright lights as mentioned initially but it’s a big venue so felt a bit empty being the only few. I may be wrong, it could be a full house on other days but just wasn’t use to dining in such an empty space. The staff were friendly, but the service was quite slow considering it wasn’t busy at all. I didn’t question at the time as you should never rush a kitchen if you want quality food, but I was wrong.

Being a regular to other famous Asian restaurants like China Town, Suissi Vegan Kitchen, Lotus Vegetarian Cuisine, Ho Wongs, I was hoping this place would be the same if not better considering it was much closer to me, but it wasn’t.

There’s no need to discuss further as we will be returning in the near future, so hopefully we will see new improvements. Appreciate different customers may have different standards as well and you are still fairly new to Paisley so definitely deserve another opportunity but I enjoy sharing my experience with...

I have been eager to try Grand Fusion since seeing it alot over Socials recently and of course was excited to order the "Flying Noodles". On the menu it is priced at £18.90 with £2 supplement for a prawn or duck dish. The waiter explained that I could chose any dish on the mains (chicken, beef etc) as long as it came with a sauce. I was on a budget so decided to go for the beef fillet peking as this wasn't stated as an extra like the prawn or duck. When the dish came out it was definitely "instagramable" , the waiter asked did I want to take a photo which I quickly did before he took the dish back off me and started to stir in my noodles. He also took away the chop stix , not sure if these were just part of the presentation ? The noodles stayed crunchy as the sauce did not soften them however the beef was beautiful. I couldn't finish it all so asked to take away which was advised was £1 for the tuppware. (I wondered if the £1 charges are added when ordering a takeaway on justeat) Once we got the bill my dish was £22.90 , I questioned this and was advised that it is £4 extra for beef? I explained I wasn't advised of this nor did it state this on the menu (only the prawn and duck). I got a sorry and smile while paying. I also doubled checked the menu on the way out and again showed the staff it does not state this anywhere on the menu and for future it would be Best to. Overall experience left me disheartened and disappointed.Myself and brother shared a starter, had a main each with a side of salt & chilli chips and a soft drink each and we where over £50.

updated I'm actually quite shocked by your reply suggesting I have lied about my experience. I can assure you I was never told when ordering that the beef Is not a good pair or that it was a special request?? I was told I could pick anything as long as it came with a sauce. Also I want to clarify that I was not Aware of the extra charge until I questioned the bill which I was then advised it was £4 extra, so I knew nothing about £6 or a goodwill gesture until reading your reply. If it was discounted like you said should it not appear on the receipt which I still have? I'm actually really disappointed with your reply and the audacity you have to write it and for that I have decided to change the overall...

I was told this was a very good restaurant and I should try it. I regret it. Had a terrible experience when ordering a home delivery. I ordered 2 Sweet & Sour chicken (1 vegan), 2 boiled rice, 1 bag of chips at 6:50 through an app. I got an email at 7:15 saying the food was out for delivery. I called the restaurant at 7:45 asking where the food was. I was told they were very busy and would be with me soon. I got a call back from Winnie at the restaurant about 5 mins later saying she had spoken to the driver and he was definitely on his way. I called again at 8:05, spoke to Winnie who said it was definitely out for delivery. Food finally arrived about 8:15 with the driver not hanging about and the food was in a very poor state. Chips were cold and had been sweating in the bag so long they were clumped together. The sweet & sour dishes were barely warm and the vegan one had congealed together and the quality was very poor and rubbery. The rice was hard and mostly inedible. We tried to heat it up in the microwave as best we could which is unacceptable for any take-away. I called the restaurant again, speaking to Winnie, to give feedback on this very very poor service. She accepted the feedback in a calm manner and apologised offering to make a fresh order. At this point it was 8:30 and I could be waiting until about 9 for a meal I ordered at 6:50. I explained this was unrealistic and was offered 10% off my next meal. Considering most of the food went in the bin after a half-hearted attempt to eat I thought this was an insult. I explained I likely would never order from them again - she apologised again and the call ended without any resolution. I was never ordered a refund or any other attempt to make up for their poor service. Very very poor customer service, very poor quality food. I will never order...

My girlfriend and I visited Grand Fusion on a Wednesday at lunch time with our baby of 6 months old. We usually visit Italian or Indian restaurants when we eat out but we were enticed by the 2 course lunch time set menu for £11.95 pp while out shopping. Although we were initially met with 2 flights of fairly steep stairs our server Gordon greeted us and kindly offered to carry the pram upstairs, before we left the manageress explained they were in the process of arranging for a stair lift to be installed. The restaurant was not busy and we were able to fully appreciate the fresh and modern decor and furniture, the seats were comfortable with clean and strong tables , the bar also looked awesome. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble, we were asked about allergies as soon we were handed our menus. There was a decent selection of dishes available on the set menu including vegetarian options. The quality of the food was excellent considering the price, served quickly, at the right temperature and the portions were just right for us, our baby awoke just in time for us to finish our meal, the manageress was an absolute delight with our boy and took some time to speak to him and catch a few smiles. We ordered - Chicken Noodle Soup (Tasty) - Salt and Chilli Ribs (Best I’ve had in a while) - Chicken Chow Mien (exactly my partners preference of noddle) - Chicken Curry (Great portion) - Cake of the day (Chocolate Fudge) (1 was more than enough to share) The only gripe I have is £3.80 for a pint of fresh OJ and Lemonade but with such a reasonable set menu price they need to make it up somewhere I guess, but all things considered we got some great service and a great lunch with desert and refreshments for £18.50pp, will be visiting again. Keep up the good work guys!!

I was in for the first time yesterday for lunch with my friend ( no Guide Dog Wee Skye today as was far too warm sadly ) for lunch ( 8th sept ) we got a table by the window, it was lovely and cool with the air con. opted for the lunch menu, i had the chicken noodle soup and beef with green pepper & fried rice. My friend had the veg spring roll and salt & pepper chicken. We also had a complimentary plate of prawn crackers too. the food was really nice, soup was tasty even tho i do prefer the thicker noodles the thin noodles were good, not mushy and held their texture. The beef was nice thick pieces and i actually think the beef with green pepper was the nicest one ive had in a long time - it wasnt too salty and had a slight sweetness to it too. the sauce wasnt too runny either, a lovely consistency. Fried rice was good too. my friend said the spring rolls were really good and she loved the sweet chilli dip too. She said her salt and pepper chicken was really good and really enjoyed the chips as well even though werent the usual thicker chips shes used to. service was really good, when we were paying the bill, the lady chatted to us for a bit and said if we wished to stay longer could move us to different table as my friend was getting sun glare and offered water, Couldnt stay as had to get back to my guide dog who was home due to the heat. The lady ( dont know her name ) said she hopes next time she gets to meet Wee Skye too will definately be back and might try some of the more adventurous foods that arent the usual things you would usually get on the menu (Sorry only have pics of my food, the pics of my friends food won’t show when I try to add )

We were here with relatives on a Friday evening. The restaurant is situated on the first floor via a flight of stairs. It didn’t appear to have an accessible entrance. The seats were comfortable, solid tables, though I couldn’t understand the theme beyond the fancy looking bar. The atmosphere felt otherwise quite plain. We tried a few dishes, a small mix from the a la carte and the vegetarian menu. Salt and Chilli Tofu. It was well cooked but the tofu’s batter had a sweet sugary taste to it, intended or not, it just didn’t match with the rest of the dish at all. Stir Fried Vegetarian Beef with Ho Fan. The taste of the rice noodles was spot on, the fried “beef” slices were not so moist as they should be but came with a watery taste. It was also a bit heavy with the beansprouts. The major disappointment, however, was the Jeui Jeui Vegetarian Chicken Pot, as it came with a price tag suggesting this being one of their signature vegetarian dishes. Though nothing was sizzling, it did arrive at the right temperature. There were quite a lot of shallots with cloves of garlic. Note the restaurant seems to use the same type of seitan to replace both beef and chicken. The Hong Kong style iced tea my cousin had was surprisingly well presented, but it’s nowhere near as milky as it should be. If you’re thinking of coming here, you’d probably want to reserve a table beforehand. Based on other reviews, the restaurant seems to be building a reputation locally. They had to turn potential patrons away. Service was courteous but busy, expect a small wait even though they don’t look short staffed.
