Great place for a breakfast and never ending coffee for around £6 all in. Their sausages have won awards, so it's not all generic low value food. Wetherspoons do what they do and they do it well. Their places are always clean and fresh and their food and drink are reasonably priced and pretty damn good for all of that. This particular Spoons is a grand place and enormous with large upstairs. There is a disabled entry at the doors nearest to the train station but these are kept closed and locked. You need to press the doorbell on the left hand side of the doors and someone will come down to you and let you in. Their decaf coffee is the tastiest and smoothest, I have had anywhere in the world. Enjoy your visit, fairly responsibly! I had the vegetarian breakfast but swapped the veggie sausages for their real pork ones, as that combination suits me best. The staff are great and always extremely helpful with that sort of thing.

Went in tonight for something to eat and a few beers. Had the steak seeing it is Tuesday steak night. Everything on plate was good except cold mushroom. Ordered steak medium rare and that’s how it came. Had the egg and black pudding as extras which were fine. Overall not too bad for pub grub. Beer the usually good selection at cheap prices which is great. Coffee out of machine is Luke warm. Although taste is good they need to turn up heat on machine !!!!!! No stirrers to stir coffee had to use a straw! Staff good as usual. Fire alarm or something went off but no one came to tell customers what it was!!!!!!! Overall place is drab and dark. Needs a refit to be honest. Will go back for cheap booze but certainly not the atmosphere of which there is none!!!it’s a totally boring pub.

Right next door to Paisley Gilmour Street train station. This is ideally located for travellers and locals. Like all Spoons, the building is stunning from the outside and well laid out on the inside. There was a good mix of group sizes and ages when I visited. Ideal for a family lunch or a night out with friends. As always with a Spoons, the lack of background music makes the atmosphere dip but you cannot argue with the prices and for that Spoons always wins.

This unfortunately was not a great experience for me, at first the place seemed nice with friendly and welcoming staff, aside from 1 guy ! This person refused to serve me and asked to me leave for no justifiable reason as to why. He just used the excuse, only useable excuse they have in the arsenal. I've had to much to drink but thing is I actually hadn't, and felt perfectly fine I. So I asked for his name so that I could speak to head office about this individual, however he point black refused. Another member of staff started on me with him like some sort of ridiculous free for all, and in true fashion the bouncers asked if I wanted to walk out or not! Doing their jobs as meat heads they acted threatening and nothing else as that's out they're pay bracket. So in all this nonsense they're seemed to be no manager on show just a bunch of children playing n ruining people night and smiling about it like they've have some power. So as I wasn't getting anywhere I left. I will be contacting head office but as they're closed with no complaints department open any weekend and have absolutely no issue taking money offending people. but when this happens customers have no where to turn until Monday!!! So in conclusion I found no reason not to post this as I don't want someone going in there n being treated the same!!! Only 1 member of staff possibly 2...

Discrimination against persons with disabilities. Meeting my sister and her blind friend after arriving from Brussels for Christmas, the Manager told staff not to serve us bizarrely because we used the app (apparently only drunks do this, at least in Paisley, despite seeing many other tables being served) and our friend is blind and couldn’t walk without assistance (holding each other up to stand apparently) the supposed manager eventually allowed her poor staff to serve us after our clarifying that apps are in fact normal in 2024 and our friend is blind but the behaviour is disgraceful and disgusting. If a manager has a problem with a table they should say to the table directly, she could have confirmed no-one was drunk, in the end we got served our drinks but come on, total incompetence and not manager material. Ridiculous behaviour. The real issue is all the minors they obviously serve. Also the disabled toilet is disgusting. My sister is recovering from cancer and this whole experience was hideous...

Rude staff , meal was cold I complained and was told by a member of staff that it would be replaced ( as no money back policy) so I expected a fresh dish , but it was heated up in microwave ( tell tale signs on the plate , and on the food itself) I asked for a fresh cooked dish and group of people I was with heard him mutter to a passing member off staff , quote " some people are never f@
