Grapes Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

My first visit to the isle of Bute. I’d been told it was full of old school boozers so I was looking forward to it. On my way to Rothesay I met a young man known locally as “wee Tommy “ who shook his head and told me “not good a lot of the pubs are closing” when I asked how he was. My first and last stop of my crawl was the grapes which is situated on the high street and seems to be the bar with the latest closing. It was good fun. Friendly locals and bar staff. A lovely pint of Guinness and has a pool table....

They dnt do food, but the nuts were perfect .service excellent , all the female staff to die for. The guys will be better with training. It's not their fault. They're just guys . Fantastic atmosphere with very cheap sounds,I tend to put proclaimers on which some folk get. The locals make you feel like a local,cracking place,,will be back every month, or every day if marry a local, Anne and Neil, who only own place, are first class. Also dog...
